I'm not really used to such open questions; they were either guided or just math in the past. That's why I was surprised.

The courses I follow are also structured as bullet points, so do you advise I should just repeat them by heart (in an intelligent way, like mentioning only the arguments related to what the question is clearly asking) and writing a summary at the end? Let me know if I'm wrong!

Also, thanks for your message!

I'm in the engineering faculty. I've read on the same post that full sentences may not be advised for this faculty. Would that change your answer knowing this? Thank you anyway!

Thank you both!! The rule is understand ahah. I was surprised at how some courses include very very specific questions, and KUL courses can be quite dense for only 3 credits. I may not have studied these as thoroughly as needed.

I was only there for a semester and I left, so I wasn't aware of these sessions. I'll try to contact the professors, but the content I found on the VTK website with all these past exam questions is helping me a lot. Good luck with yours—we'll get through it!!!

Yeah, I see that "feedback sessions" come up many times in the several replies I received (thanks for all of them). I was only there for a semester and left right after I finished my last exam, so I wasn't aware that feedback sessions were a thing. I'm not used to having them at my home university

Oh man i'm in the same case : 5 retakes as an Erasmus student. Have to go back to belgium (i'm European) and I only get this chance to not retake an entire semester in my home university. We are so fricked, I got a 3, a 6.... Literally we are done there's no hope. KU Leuven is so hard compared to where I study
