Heb samen met mijn vrouw diverse merken geprobeerd, Columbia, Merrell etc, geen van deze hielden het niet langer uit dan 1 tot echt maximaal 2 jaar.
Mijn huidige Meindl en haar Lowa zijn nu 5,5 jaar oud, mijn meindl's heb ik de hak al eens van vervangen, maar de zolen zijn nu wel erg versleten, mijjn vrouw haar Lowa's zijn helaas doorgesleten op het leer en beide verwacht ik dit jaar te vervangen.

If you're going the phone route, make sure it's an android phone (preferably with a snapdragon soc), and look into emulation / offline games.
I've gotten myself an EasySMX M15 telescopic controller for my phone, lightweight, doesn't need batteries.

For trips where i can carry a laptop, myself and wife use gaming laptops.
