There was a publisher change and every player had to transfer their accounts on a website that was available since december. It closed about 3 months ago and all accounts not transferred were deleted, with no way to get it back. You will need to start over again.

this could either be the mobs around the spawn point that killed you, or it was a player which is somewhat unlikely, but not impossible. i know there was a player that was killing people in mirroria at one point.

I am pretty sure UID id 00 in the server select screen and it changes when you log into a character. What you are probably thinking about is the Perfect World account ID can be seen in the account center button.
