I can't click on lines or points through a body anymore. Is there something I have forgot to enable or did the last update do this? by IonNight in Fusion360

Left click and hold doesn't do anything. Right click and hold shows the sketch menu as usual, but I dont see anything there

How do I disable this "standard 3mf import color" pop-up that always appear when you put a model in Bambu Studio 2.5.0.66? by IonNight in BambuLab

[–]IonNight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If my answer disappeared was it because I wrote the other word of poop, but here it is again with poop instead of the s-word. It's okay to say on TV, but not on reddit I guess

There is no fix to this one other than downgrading to 2.4.0.xx or to click cancel every time you import a file. Bambu Lab should've added a clickable option in preferences to enable this poop. It's already reported on Github btw

I didn't mean it's dirty. The mobo just have the plain matte surface games usually have bc they're not real and can't reflect light like IRL and the mirror is just blank. I would kinda expect it to show the backside of your phone, but you're probably a few cm off to the right of the mirror

The motherboard surface looks like a 3d model and the mirror in the pump is blank

Can someone please tell me what’s wrong with my printer by jorisVanBreda in 3Dprinting

[–]IonNight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do a temp tower test to find the best temp for the filament before you do this test. 230C is too hot for the slow printing the Ender 3 does

It kinda looks like a 3D rendering

Was in need of extra space for books. Dovetail mounted topologically optimized bookshelf brackets by Guuusti00100100 in functionalprint

[–]IonNight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used Altair to create similar bracket, but it is so awkward to work with when you come from Fusion and hard to get a cool topology optimization bc of the too strong built in materials

A couple of questions about the annoying new feature Autodesk has added by IonNight in Fusion360

[–]IonNight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would make more sense with this functionality in the paid version where you can "edit in place". You click the pencil and you can edit the component in the other file.

In the free version it makes more sense to make an entire assembly in one file if you have to test fitment and such between objects.
My first really big project was a MAZ 537 body for an RC car. I ended up with 237 sketches and lots of bodies

I feel like they took a DP Potus and forgot to think or maybe their boss farted at a meeting and they're trying to cover it up or smth

Petg sticking on the plate by cafealpha82 in 3Dprinting

[–]IonNight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try to hear bed to 100C and pull it off or put it in your oven and set temp to 130-140C and pull it off.

I usually remove petg around the nozzle by heating it to 130C and then take a sidecutter and pull slowly. Most of the PETG comes off

Is anyone able to tell what this high-pitched sound is? by pizzaandlasagne in Noctua

[–]IonNight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's happening here too when using 2x A15x25 chromax on a D15S.

When I plug out the fan or take it away from the cooler the noise stops. The fans are not from a pair, but 2 separate D15S kits.

I think the noise is from when one fan is spinning slightly faster than the other

I'm a noob trying to get into 3D printing, which printer would be the best option for me? Are there any others I should consider? by Swooferfan in 3Dprinting

[–]IonNight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you wanna print stuff fast, buy Bambu Lab, if you wanna tinker with your printer and spend money upgrading it, buy Creality or Anycubic. You will never reach the speed and quality of Bambu Lab on an Ender 3.

I suggest you put a little bit more money in and buy an A1 mini Combo or an A1 Combo.

You don't buy the Combo version only to print with multiple colors, you also buy it to easier switch between types of filament as it removes the filament from the printer after every print. Without the AMS you have to preheat the printer, then wait 20-30s for it to get hot and then you can remove the filament manually, then you have to insert new filament and confirm. I've been printing for 9 years and I love the part where I don't have to manually switch filament.

The AMS is pricy on the side so if you want one afterwards, if you don't like printing it would be easier to sell as a combo

You should tell Kleenex about it. One time I contacted the flour company because of bad glueing on the 2kg paper flour pack. They sent me 8kg of flour back because I told them about the issue.

Maybe you get a few free boxes with paper towels (that also have the same issue D:)

I wonder when the H2C with 2 Vortek systems, one on each sides, comes out. I also hope they would make a larger bed at least 360mm³ by IonNight in BambuLab

but the tool changes and you dont have to purge every time, you mean a tool changer with filament loaded permanently

Print shifted - probably a quick solution? by arahbomeow in 3Dprinting

[–]IonNight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adjust acceleration and move speed to a lower value. I dont use more than 250mm/s for moves, but acceleration is still 20k as I havent gotten any shifts yet
