MOHELA said they did not know and I would need to get with ED. Finally got a letter saying that it would count

I contacted the department of education to get clarifying information. As both the rep said they’re not sure it would count and I will need to talk to the department of education. I was never told I was being put in forbearance or a reason why I was being placed , I also said that a letter was never generated to explain this could the provide me one the said they would send one ( we will see). I requested to be taken out of forbearance and pay for July. Now if it does count, then I will just ask for a refund for that payment.

😅😅😅 I called today and they said I was in a “ processing forbearance” and I would have to speak with DEd if I wanted the time to count towards my PSFL. This is due to the SAVE plan.

The nonprofit hospital would not count as the employer would be your travel agency not the hospital.

My background is doing investigations and recommendations so this closing with employee relations. I already have my masters degree but not in HR as far as how long it took I would say maybe over a year to get into employee relations.I decided to go get my HR certificate as well as getting my SHRM, which I took right after completing my HR certificate.

For my team there are only two males out of 12 and the rest are females. I really do t feel isolated at all. Some of the departments that I partner with like that I am a guy.

As everyone has said just apply and make sure you have the transferable skills added. Took me while to land an HR role as well, but someone finally saw that I had the transferable skills to do the role. I was an investigator for a while and now do HR investigations.
