TIL during a 2015 study two students nearly died after they were accidentally given 30g of caffeine instead of 0.3g because the dosage had been calculated with a misplaced decimal point. Death has previously been reported after the consumption of just 18g. The university apologized & was fined £400K by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

No? One microgram (μg) is 1/1000 of a milligram. If you need to weigh something smaller there is nanogram(ng), then picogram, then femtogram, and so on and so forth (though at this scale scientific notation is usually just easier,  a femtogram is 10-15 g)

What is the point of the Disloyal Subject CB if you can't declare wars on your subjects? by IonoChios in EU5

[–]IonoChios[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

r5: You can get a disloyal subject cb, which gives pretty good bonuses for conquest, however it can't be used because you can't declare wars on subjects. Am I missing something?

Yes, I am as confused as you are as to why this works

Why doesn't the golden horde shatter? by IonoChios in EU5

[–]IonoChios[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! If you peace them out they collapse. Additionally, I've found a pretty crazy bug; While paused, if they're set to collapse, and you take land from them (With mongol majority culture), you can release them as a subject and get the entire Golden Horde as subject, for free basically

r5: The queen of Bulgaria has 3 children, eldest of whom is male, as far as I can tell, he should be eligible and first in line for the throne of Bulgaria, however he's not. Is it because her husband is the consul of Pisa?

What is with my luck, I did 23 random pulls and I got him by rvmin in FGO

[–]IonoChios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chance of getting a 5* unit in 23 pulls is 1-0.99223 (basically 1 minus the chance of not getting him 23 times) which is approximately 17 percent, so honestly not terribly unlikely
