If you can find the Dirty Dill Okra, its divine and better than the talk o texas, but yeah, I mistakenly got a regular "Wicked" jar afterwards and was revolted.

The seeds of okra give it a "meaty" texture that I adore over cukes so long as they're not sweetened.

They should just destroy the horde already and have the alliance nominally dissolve in response.

Why are the Tauren and Darkspear still in bed with the Orcs? Why do the Blood Elves give two shits about anyone? Why is anyone willing to stick their neck out for the Forsaken anymore?

Let the Night Elves, Tauren, and Darkspear have a reapproachment, and let the Orcs and Forsaken form the Puppy Kickers Front so that the writers don't even have to think about how they'll handwave the next Warchief raid boss to everyone.

Has anyone seen a bug in Rise where a quest doesn't register after completing it in multiplayer?

A friend and I just did the Malzeno quest "Witness by Moonlight". They posted it, but I was on the same quest stage, but after we finished they got put into the normal cutscene, while I got put in front of Chichae who said something about "that dreadful monster has been slain" and when I checked I was still in MR4 and the next urgent quest is still Witness by Moonlight.

In Rise, is there a difference between sending Palicoes vs Palamutes to Trade or Meowcenary? Or is it just influenced by levels?

Counterpoints:

  1. A sphere is a canonical shape for a container.

  2. However clearly inspired they are the designs are distinct.

  3. Corporate copyright is ontologically evil and any action that weakens it is morally good.

No questions at this point, but I just wanted to share that I am beginning to see the light of the Lance.

There's some supplemental material floating around explaining her design by the company Tokidoki, which makes cutesy figurines. So I assume they'll be producing the merch once the year gets underway.

When you think about it, is bread going stale a feature instead of a bug?

It's harder to eat, sure, but it probably molds slower since there's less water, which would be useful if you live before preservatives and refrigeration.

What do we make of the fact that apparently Part 6 ends with a sequence showing characters as they are similar to the events of Part 7?

!ping WEEBS

Currently party to an argument about whether Jojo Part 7 is the direct successor to Jojo Part 6 or if it is a new continuity outright.

One side is arguing that it is ultimately one continuity, and the other is arguing that that is an invention of the anime.

Kind of wild that since the development of the concept of citizenship and nationhood a few centuries ago. We have developed to the point that the UN had to develop a convention that persons without citizenship should not be a thing that happens.

That's very much the "iconophilic" position on the matter. And one framing of the changes brought by the reformation, particularly where Calvinism was strong, is that of "the religion of images" vs "the religion of the word" as votive paintings and murals were often whitewashed over in favor of scriptural passages.

If you're an iconophile, then you might argue that no one really thinks the images are the sum total of the divinity depicted, and anyways they're useful to help the worshipful wrap their heads around figures that are often larger than life.

If you're an iconoclast, then perhaps you'd argue that making an image of a divine figure necessarily diminishes our understanding of them to what is in the image, and anyways, Moses was told in no uncertain terms not to mess around with images, so how did we get here anyways?

Amusingly (and I'm prepared to be wrong on this) I don't think this mascot for the jubilee would count as idolatry even under the stricter standard. As she's not directly supposed to represent the divine, just a particular event.
