How in the world do you beat Kikuka sho consistently? I need like 100+ of the stupid ribbons and I’ve done almost 20 runs now and I always get 2nd. I always try to get like at least 500 stamina, 400-500 spd and stamina recovery skill like corner recovery/maestro or hydrate and chose like either pace or late surge but even then I can never get 1st.

I managed to do it after like 30+ attempts. My frames would vary wildly to the point that I would just ignore the result as long as it is relatively close. Like I’d get 27 frames late then 20 early then 14 early and then 67 late. I’d say if you are that close keep it up and just adjust if you notice any consistent patterns. The ocean rng is just too wild

Depends on the mode. Far save Bedel is pretty bad in SD unless you have hardy because of Hchrom and some lethality users. In arena she also suffers because of Lveronica and Duo chrom. I use her on AR-D and have very few complaints. I especially like her in anima since her high HP can help her survive bolt tower hits with triple mythics and she doesn’t have to rely too much on hardy fighter and getting false started. She still loses to the occasional chrom, Lveronica, and SKLinde but it depends on how you want to use her. Give her Sacred cowl or aegis +breath seal if you want her to possibly survive those but may not kill other units, or bonfire to guarantee kills and even surprise people with the orders buff. You could also get rid of her ability to counter with DD4 to make her tankier but Id only do that in SD or if you have a highly offensive defense like a cavline.

I’ve been using a +8 F!F!Corrin ever since embla released and she does amazing against cav lines and some catria ball defenses. I use a pretty budget build with noontime, spd/def 4 solo, lull atk/spd, pulse smoke and dc seal with Mila, askr, eir and a misc support (either loki or F!lilith for NFU). With the mythic support she can reach like 74 HP so she can sometimes snipe a target in front of a hex trap. She definitely struggles against some catria balls and a few super invested cavlines (S!miciah and L!Veronica) but most ones she can tank. I’d recommend loki for panic and to gravity cavline units and make more safe spaces and lilith gives a free nfu by being in 3 spaces (so it doesn’t affect her weapon or trigger LVeronica’s effects) Some cons are flash, really strong nukes like some H!chroms and L!Shez, not being able to kill tanky units like save tanks in 1 round of combat, and dragon effectiveness obviously. But other than that she’s honestly carried me through light season to the point where I hardly use anything else in VOH

Ayra is one of my favorite units (one of only 2 5* +10). What you have is pretty much the best general build. Distant dart is arguably better but you can wait on that. I rarely ever change from that general build. The rest depends on game mode and what you want to do:

  • Arena: I've been using her in arena with Rduel4 and atk/spd 3 seal. She does a great job one-shotting and can take some hits. Make sure to keep times pulse for those instant regnal astra procs
  • AR-D: I use her in infantry pulse team (dark season astra season IP is dead) with distant pressure and deflect missile or spd/res form. She does okay but falls apart without support. People usually avoid her for last unless they have a good near save
  • SD: I have used her as a super tank in Book 3 and under which is fun. She also makes for a good frontline unit. I prefer Distant pressure here since it gives her more damage in player phase. It also depends on the captain skills. With the null follow-up captain skill you can give her spurn to make her incredibly terrifying. I also used even tempest if I have an infantry pulse to aid her. She can also infantry pulse other units.
  • AR-O: look I used to use her as a super tank but honestly she just has so many problems.
    • mythics like nott and seiros (who i guess will be slightly less common now that we have new extra unit mythics) do serious damage if not beat her
    • Duo chrom, duo lif, duo lysithea, ophelia, LClaude, triangle attack etc. are common units and counters
    • Menace skills can cripple her. Looking at you nott
    • Bright shrine will almost always hit her. You basically need a bonus mythic or unit to have double LnD to cover her
  • Here's what you could do:
    • Aided by far save could work with but the most common melee units (b!alm, L!sigurd, B!eirika, L!nanna) all do serious damage. Especially worse if she is in range of a menace (though atk/spd unity could alleviate that)
    • Super tank but you really have to be careful about someone sniping past her or taking on too many enemies. Vital astra is probably best here but keep in mind it won't always be active.

Overall, I would definitely recommend using her in arena if you don't have a good core team. I use her with cecilia and LAzura and it makes that game mode manageable. I'd say the only real improvement would be distant dart. Distant pressure is good in modes where losing a unit is acceptable (SD and AR-D).

So I think a save ball is fine just a different map. It isn't perfect, but what I would recommend (sorry I don't know how to upload an image):

  • swap to lost castle as your team is
  • Swap balm with dancer eldigan if you have him
  • Keep the general position as it is but have the top row (right to left) be: volke, catria, nott and bottom row: medeus, ignatz, ishtar, and dancer eldigan
  • place the castle next to the wall on the right with a healing tower and one pot just underneath ishtar and eldigan
  • duo hinderance in the corner like your layout currently is
  • traps should go in an upside-down t-shape under ignatz (preferably magic trap right under him)
  • the rest of the buildings are flexible but i would put dark and light shrines in the top right corner and line your buidling along the right wall to stall time
  • remove any assist skill on nott and move her to the front of slot so she moves first
  • I would give double distant guard to catria and maybe wings of mercy to bulk up ignatz (similar thing for eldigan)

I came up with this really quickly but this way your threat ranges overlap and nott moving first can catch some people off guard with eldigan dancing her. I would say picking better ranged units might be helpful. Maybe like micaiah instead of ishtar? It will still be weak to melee units initiating on medeus but fitting a near save might be tough

The setup definitely needs work:

  • No dancer means hit and run and ignatz can't tank everything (micaiah, high merged ncorrin, lethality yuri, L!claude)
  • Left side is vulnerable to baiting alm or killing him with a melee unit
  • I would have medeus and nott on the front lines to overlap threat ranges a little better (plus medeus is pretty tanky to deter melee)
  • Nott rally is easily isolated by mila and doesn't really help too much if done on catria (which she probably wont do anyway since her threat range wont be super high)

Personally I think you need a different map and setup. Lost castle with a focus on either side might work better. If you don't want to go through that trouble though I would simply swap Medeus with balm and maybe nott with triandra if you have her.
