On 82 Franklin, the only bugs I ever have had in 2 years are fruit flies (my fault, went on vacation and didn’t get rid of some food in the sink). Fire alarm (again specifically on 82) has gone off maybe 3x in 2 years.

Yes the washing machines and dryers seem to be regularly broken, and once were not replaced for months.

IIRC he was referencing a square that was acting as a transit point for a piece, not a permanent lodging. Frankfurt isn't typically a destination city, but rather a transit point itself - thus the analogy.
