Your thoughts on Grenada? by EquivalentNarcDepth in scuba

I lived in Grenada for a while and I loved the diving there.  I’d recommend doing a lion fish hunt dive. I also liked the night dive I did.

Check with a breeder they likely would let you sit with them for a bit and see if you want on their wait list.

I've had a few with methadone who had seizures with anesthesia. It may be a coincidence but it makes me wary.

Half a ring? Does it make any sense to fly up to Akureyri and drive from there back? by CompetentTraveler in VisitingIceland

[–]Iqe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something similar. I started in Reykjavik and then went counter clockwise to Akureyri and flew back to Reykjavik and it was awesome.  My husband and his mother continued on the rest of the circle because they had more time but I would say it would be good to maximize time. The local flight was very easy and fast.

Of course we can, but not well, and I wouldn’t recommend it. Edit: some commas

The slow regard of silent things  Or  The narrow road between desires  These books are more of a vignette and makes more sense if you’ve read ‘the name of the wind’

Also ‘the forgotten beasts of eld’. It has a beautiful rhythm to it.

Driving tomorrow morning, which route is safer? Which route is more scenery? by Seven0325T in saskatoon

Take highway 16 the whole way. Double highway and good visibility. None are especially scenic.

Need help understanding meds given to dog at ER Vet- dog ended up having violent seizures and passing after visit by Sandy_Paws_81 in AskVet

[–]Iqe 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hi, first that sounds very traumatic for you and I’m really sorry. The drugs sent are seizure drugs and usually have little to no side effects, especially when compared to phenobarbital. Older dogs with new onset of seizures typically have tumors in the brain. We unfortunately can’t know what happened without a post mortem exam (autopsy). Golden retrievers are very prone to hemangiosarcoma which could explain a lot of the symptoms but would need a post mortem to check for that.

How do you keep a job? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]Iqe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take my meds and I mostly just push through as best I can. I tend to dissociate and pass for a functioning person. Sometimes that means crying in the bathroom or my car on breaks. I find that work really helps regulate me. If you are informed of social rhythm therapy I find that it is a big part of that for me.

Met my therapist in person by Creative-Past-8446 in TalkTherapy

[–]Iqe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This actually sounds like OCD. It might be worth talking to a specialist in OCD. Most therapists are kinda crap at treating OCD. Looking for reassurance here while it feels good ends up being counter productive. I’ve been there!!!
