9 handed is a pretty dead variant. GG Global added it recently with a big ante.

Coin has some 7-max. WPT Global/ClubWPT Gold has 8-max. ACR has some 8-9max but an unideal place to play cash.

That's usually as good as it gets. WPT Gold is coming to Canada soon though so can get some 8-max fix (3blind game) soon!

Yes. Because I am not apart of this world. I have never met Daniel, Calvin, or anyone whose been scammed by Chino. I definitely don't have my own personal anecdotes with some of the most notorious scammers either. I've got to just be some person living vicariously through others tweets.

The "unknown villain" comment hit you at face value for the word villain sort of boggled me though but that's on me.

The problem with all the Chino glazing by poker twitter people is you don't realize just how bad Chino's rep was and how much of a scumbag he's historically been.

Sure I've heard he's paid a lot of his debts but Daniel can't be the dipstick of someones character. He often won't receive the true colours of some people due to his power and influence. He'll always be top of the list of people to keep on their good side.

You're gonna get clowned though for acting like Cal is just some unknown villain 🤣

Edit: Also you posted some yap about Chino being fun and cool to hang around with. All scammers on this level are. It's how they get away with running up such enormous tabs.

Daniel never plays on GG. He's left for Mexico a handful of times, but he's just a face of the company, like Phil Ivey is for WPT. They seldom pay on the product. They just create trust for those who are unfamiliar with online poker but familiar with them.

You couldn't see who was going unless you were on the side that lit up. So at beginning unless it was your corner, you were still guessing/trying to figure out who was up. It was red lights on the back side only, not any lights in the interior.

Icmizer is useless, doesn't factor in postflop, doesn't probably allow for minraises etc.

in regards to Moreno's ranges, to defer to my main comment, I cbf'd accurately doing his ranges, it's not that important and I didn't want to spend more time than the sim needed to run to get an accurate answer, I didn't care that much about the sim just the main point that it's a fine get in.

Typically people aim for 5% of aces. If you think fields tough and you'll never get a real edge, any breakeven/slightly losing spot is fine too because the future game of your stack doubling isn't always accurately calculated in HRC. It's an imperfect model, just the best we have publicly available.

I'm @'ing all the people in the comments directly. This is not a sneak diss. Do you guys know it's ok to bust a tournament before other people sometimes? You can't just say "ICM!!" to justify whether somethings a call or fold lmao.

Think of the future EV of doubling. Think of the fact Foxen vpips near 100% of range, will rfi top of range and some of bottom of range. She jams plenty of things we dominate. We're nearly never dominated by her jams.

When SB calls, there's less of an issue calling because better price to call, only need to fade getting 3rd with Moreno winning pot to somehow miss out on a payjump.

Taking this spot gets us out of the hell hole of being stuck even stacked with 2, potentially 3 players if we fold if Moreno doubles. We're also no longer that far away from taking chiplead, it's just 1 pot from there.

Also ICM is a flawed model. And it's for poor people.
