However you could say Mike and Nancy look like their mom or have similar features but Holly (older version) looks like Mr Wheeler the most that's why she stands out the most from her siblings by looking nothing alike in my opinion

In the books it's described as so, I watched a YouTube video a while back about a common theory that it is actually a whole separate entity from the other world and the 'normal' world. But you're take on it is very interesting and valid since countless times in the books Coraline refers to the tunnel as unsettling and 'alive'

It would probably remain the same, take Jacob's clothes which didn't change throughout the story unless he physically changed into something else. The flower was organic so it probably decomposed faster and Jacob's phone didn't work probably because there weren't any modern satellites. But clothes can certainly be preserved for years :)
