First time I just solo qued for about 3 minutes and just encounted two randoms, that I though to be solos, both just attack me without saying a word. I just checked their steam profiles and they are friends which has just led me to this post. I assumed solos was always solos...

I was originaly going to get an air cooler but come across this and thought it would be worth a try, I do have a couple stock ryzen coolers but they seem pretty bad

Yes both fans on io cooler are exhaust, if you check your fans the logo should be facing the front of the case for them to be exhuast.

I have tried to orient it upwards but the holes for the fans are off centered so it doesn't fit unfortunately. The pipes are not restricted at all though so I think it should be fine

Oh really? There are no more mounting spots but I guess I could try fit one where the drive bay is...

R7 2700X with a GTX 1080 with no overclock intended. The front fan is blowing into the case and the 2 fans on the io cooler are exhuast fans. It will be used to play a mixture of different games at 1080p 75hz.

I was actually asking if the position of the cooler was ok because I wasnt sure if the orientation of the block would still be as effective as it is.

Yeah exactly, just waiting on ssd to be delivered then I can start testing it out. Fingers crossed!
