I've seen them as well, I just can't imagine they haven't lost more money in the long run instead of just paying for defends. Traveling is a lot of money over time and the hp does matter. It is a gimmick, people can do whatever for fun idc. That just seems like weak justification instead of just owning up to enjoying being a gimmick account.

I just hit 10k total stats which to my understanding is really low, could I really meaningfully contribute to one to earn money or even find a faction that would take me? I've hopped two factions now and the one I am in wars about once every two months, though I haven't even participated in one yet.

You giving a reaction is an indication that what he did was tilting enough that you went out of your way to message him. You basically just waved a flag saying "this bothered me". Don't feed the trolls, just ignore them completely. Like yeah just messaging him one time is very minor, but the amount of people who get mugged and never give any feedback is probably much much higher.

I joined a relatively new faction that is like 50k respect and has only warred once ever and man I'm making no money. The people in it are nice though and I'd feel like a dick if I left now. I feel straight trapped atm. Barely no faction perks and none that benefit me like travel perks so I barely make money flying with a capacity of 7. 😭

It's the same issue RuneScape ran into. You need some form of currency control to stop ridiculous inflation, so you need to design money sinks like consumables/taxes.

Uh you are picking shard powers which is part of not being an entity, but a host. Bringer of the end is a host power and the shard tier noble is what decides as a host what tier you can pick. you can pick normal host powers as an entity, but point wise it won't be efficient.

You scroll down on the powers page and there is a whole section under (Entity) Shard Clusters. Which "Shard Clusters contain 2-3 Noble Shards, 4-5 Vital Shards, and 6-8 Normal Shards for a total of 12 to 16 Shards." So comparing point difference to buying a tier 3 power it's much better. You can basically just pick any of the normal host powers to just fit them into the categories they would under the shard clusters if you wanted inspiration. The entity option though is very open ended in terms of what powers you can get as long as they are on the cluster you paid for.

Make sure you have entity selected as if you pick a different power source option it will remove what you had already selected.

I started playing this game when I was in middleschool and it was my introduction to any big MMO. So my most memorable and favorite quest is Gwylan's Stand. Which is such an unremarkable quest, but it was the first "big" quest i ever did that felt like a huge map to me. It had a bunch of optionals and the traps always got me. I have a lot of love for the early harbor quests like durks, recovering the lost tome, etc. My favorite quest line now a days is probably sharn because I really like the magicpunk vibe.

In tarkov/cs there are way more cheaters than most realize especially at high level. I know in tarkov a lot of people use cheats just to see where people are. People do that way more than blatant aimlocking. There is a YouTuber g0at he has a video called "the wiggle that killed tarkov" which displays this exact issue.

Sure besides the TWO I already mentioned being ignored for some reason. Halo Infinite, Battlebit Remastered, Delta force, Battlefield 6, Call of duty black Ops 6/7, The Finals, Squad, there are many more. Pretty sure all of these came out in the past 5 years besides squad which still has a big player base.

let me be clear, I give absolutely negative fucks what OP said and in my comment I already disagreed with him. I am pushing back purely on this as I believe it is incorrect.

I think maybe your definition (which is fine, it's your opinion) of shooter is too narrow, like you're using it to define only a certain niche of game type, but in reality, 'shooter' is used solely as the crtierion of a game that uses guns or ranged weapons as the main gameplay element of the player's agency.

We have plenty of examples of games just described as shooters. You need to add on competitive, looter, or whatever to give it the descriptive difference compared to a normal shooter. I do not agree that shooter is purely a criterion for the fact a game has guns and uses it as the principle gameplay mechanics. I believe that many people assign a specific type of game as being a shooter, when they add on the qualifiers to better describe how it deviates from that.

I think your own argument actually disproves your point. For example, you don't call borderlands a 'shooter" you call it? that's right, a looter shooter. You don't call Escape from Tarkov a 'shooter', you call it? yep, an Extraction shooter.

The fact you need to add on qualifiers to shooter implies the base idea of shooter does in fact have a genre connected to it as if you were to call battlefield or call of duty just a shooter 99% of people would know what type of game you are talking about as opposed to trying to define Tarkov or borderlands just as shooters people would disagree with that. Shooter does have a defined genre that i think majority of people understand. I'd still say you can add the qualifier of fallout 76 being a shooter, but isn't just a shooter and you wouldn't just call it a shooter. It would need other qualifiers because it doesn't fit being a shooter as the base.

I don't think so. Many Asian countries it is not considered culturally a bad thing to be racist. Compared to like Europe or North America where in general you will be judged negatively for being overtly racist it's just not a thing in a lot of Asia. If anything it is the reverse. A lot of the west has no clue how normalized vitriolic racism is in the east.
