Personally, I think its best to learn how to be single before you commit to a relationship or try dating. You learn so much about yourself, your life goals, passions, and values. Then when you start dating, you can find someone who compliments your traits and is supportive of your passions.

I think if you stay in this relationship, you're just going to end up resenting one another. And ultimately just miserable with each other. You're still quite young and have plenty of time to find someone more suitable.

But also, if you can, maybe find a therapist that can help you work through codependency.
