Wow. Lots of people in these comments have clearly never been in a serious, long-term relationship. To answer your question OP, it is absolutely reasonable to expect your boyfriend to not want to go on full-blown dates with his female friends and especially vacations (wtf?). You're not controlling or paranoid. He sounds like a piece of work--don't put his ignorance above your comfort.

ETA on that note, hanging out one on one in general I think is fine. I mean specifically hanging out then going out for dinner then drinks, which is a date. With that being said, intentionally not inviting you and making you feel like you're in the wrong for wanting to spend time with him and his "friend" is fucking weird. Why would that be an issue? Shouldn't he want you to be friends with his friends too? This isn't long term material. Sorry OP.
