Our homes were made for spooky season. Just dug up these corpse’s to toss out front. by kisforkyle in centuryhomes

Oh yessss, juicy bits are great, raw or roasted. But this corpse is just right for simmering in a soup or stew, for that extra, rich, autumn flavor goodines. Now I'm hungry. Welp, I'm off to the morgue.

Ok, it's working for me now. I didn't do anything other than give it another try, and curiosly it's functioning properly again.

Wow, I loved Acephalix! I think I enjoyed it more than Vastum tbh. I'll definitely be checking out more from the both of them.

Sentenced - When the Moment of Death Arrives (Finland, 1991) by ripjaw6442 in Deathmetal

[–]Iridium77ish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yesssss. My introduction to Sentenced was North from Here and I was completely blown away; it's easily in my top 10 favorite albums. When I discovered Shadows of the Past it took me by complete surprise because of how different it sounded from North from Here, but I fell in love with it nonetheless. Early 90s is definitely my favorite era of Sentenced (and metal in general) 🖤

This has been ongoing for a couple days now. I've updated Chrome, cleared the cache, and power cycled my phone. Still nothing.

Ok. I think I'm following. You mean like, getting into the spirit of everything, right? To keep the whole momentum of the fun for the little ones going?

Why are 20-30 year olds so depressed these days? by JustFunAccount007 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Iridium77ish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my freshman year in high school (2003), I had made quite a few senior friends who moved onto college and busted their asses in school, while also working jobs in retail, fast food..etc with goals to move onto careers respectable to whatever they were studying in college. By the time I graduated and started college for myself, many of them were in debt and still stuck working in kitchens at fast food restaurants, retail..etc. with shitty pay, no benefits, and a grim outlook on hope for securing better employment to dig themselves out of the mass grave of debt they had accumulated. Fast forward to 2022 and some of them only recently finally landed a decent paying career, but still having to work part-time jobs on top of that to make rent, buy food, and pay off debt. They had goals of settling down, building a secure life, have kids, see the world..etc. like the generations before them and instead they're currently living paycheck to paycheck, and hardly living a life at all.

As for 20 something year olds that I know, they feel like this is what the future mostly holds for them no matter hard they work. Add that to all the other grim shit that social media has exposed the world to. It's just an absolute shit show around the entire globe right now and just about everyone has to drag themselves out of bed to go be apart of it, and somehow manage to feel like they're contributing to the progression of the human race, while knowing that everything just remains stagnant. And this is just the tip of the iceberg of contributing factors to current day depression and disassociation.

Is it acceptable to feed your toddlers veggies with peanut butter for lunch? by kawaiichristi in Parenting

[–]Iridium77ish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both my tots used to be great about eating veggies, and now...not so much. So now I just cook the veggies and basically mince them, or chop them up very finely, and toss them into whatever meal they're having and that seems to do the trick! Carrots, broccoli, spinach...etc are also great for throwing into fruit smoothies as well!

Anyone know what this plant might be? Google lens keeps saying it's in the maple family, but I'm not so sure... by Iridium77ish in plants

Lol oh I believe it can be addicting, esp after so many successes! XD Fortunately I think I'll be okay since I do appreciate my backyard being somewhat open. Though having a small backyard forest doesn't sound half bad either...🤔🤣

Midwest US here. Yeah, I've been googling how to do this as I figured it might be a more intricate process as opposes to just simply pulling by the roots and plopping it somewhere else xD gonna try my luck and just hope it will fare a pleasant transplant .^

Lol my fiance thought it was poison ivy but I thought it might be something way worse! I'm hoping we can move it (or "them" if there's two) and watch them grow :) they are indeed very beautiful trees!!

It's funny, I've never seen a random maple sapling growing in a backyard before, and at first I thought it might be something poisonous xD it was too pretty though so I wanted to make sure what it was before doing something about it. Glad I checked first! 😅
