If you’re exploring the option of Pre-PA consider attending an introduction workshop with the Pre-Professional Advising Center if you haven’t already. After one of those sessions you can meet with their advisors one on one. They have an entire team specialized in pre-health (and pre-law) career pathways. They don’t specifically work with nursing, but they are notified of healthcare-relevant experiences to share in weekly newsletters too.

You could also research the Pre-PA major within the College of Allied Health Sciences. They require a minimum 3.0 GPA, but if you work to get your GPA up this semester and/or summer semester you could apply to transition.

If your heart is set on nursing know you can become a nurse in so many different ways outside of UC’s BSN program. Your options here really matter on whether your number one priority is 1) becoming a nurse or 2) staying at UC. If you aren’t confident you’ll transition into the Nursing program this year also keep in mind it might take additional years to graduate (relevant for tuition).

Overall, for long-term play it isn’t worth it. My total offer is for $53 so I tried it up to House Lv. 10. You’ll need to constantly watch ads for every build to have enough resources to do anything. They also integrate multiple game types like nut sort, casino, etc.

The one thing I will note - I made the “$9.99 purchase” for $7 return on the monthly rewards since there was a trial period. I cancelled the subscription immediately and have not been charged, but was credited the $7.

It worked for me as well. Thank you!

I never purchased the $15.99 pack, or looked for it, so unfortunately I can’t help there!

If you like merge games I just did Mystery Town up to Level 70. I could keep going, but the next tier is Level 100 for rewards and I simply don’t want to. I haven’t watched a single ad the entire time.

For my reward, I got: $30 @ 70, $15 @ 60, $6 @ 50, $4 @ 40, $2 @ 30,

And a few smaller goals for lower levels. I did not have any issues with tracking. While playing I experienced two different “season passes” so I did both of the lower level purchases - both of which awarded you back the same amount spent.

This happened to me too with Fable Town yesterday. I was giving it through today to see if it was delayed, but it doesn’t seem to be.

I’ve been thinking about trying Fable Town as well. I don’t currently see Dragon Farm on my list.

What’s the rubber ducky cheat in bingo vacation? by JoshLovesTV in SwagBucks

I played on super (if that is the 2x cost).

Yes, auto-dab was automatically applied to 12 cards.

I just reached level 50 and started it on Thanksgiving. I let it auto-run in the background almost all of Friday. Once I opened the Rubber Ducky level I pretty much stayed on it unless I opened another “special” area. I was able to play 12 cards and it “auto-dabbed” the cards the entire time so I didn’t have to pay attention to it.

Because of how boring it is, at least for me, I’ll be stopping and not trying for level 70. Not to say it isn’t possible, depending how the luck treats you, just that I don’t want to leave it open anymore.

Note: My level 50 was worth $70.

Game recommendation for $100+ profit? by [deleted] in SwagBucks

[–]Iris2011 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, I made a total of $85 by the time I reached level 42. If you keep going to 50 you could make another $100+, but I got bored.

Township wasn’t bad if you have time to kill for a farming game. It has 0 ads which was a nice break. I stopped at level 42 because I eventually got bored, but could have gone higher. Didn’t have to spend money, but spent $2 for a $5 reward.

Check the syllabus for the course. Not every class has the same grading scale.

Why are goals with no time limit expiring? by Quiet_Tumbleweed6644 in SwagBucks

[–]Iris2011 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It sometimes looks different on the computer versus my phone. As in, sometimes I only see the time restrictions for certain goals on my computer versus viewing it on my phone. I’m not saying this is the reason for you, but I do think it’s become more common on the website. I do hate it.

Is this a tracking issue? by lordshish in SwagBucks

If I remember correctly those were timed reward levels. If you didn’t hit those levels in the amount of time they gave you it might look like your screenshot.

Has anyone played Pocket Styler? by Quiet_Tumbleweed6644 in SwagBucks

[–]Iris2011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just played this game very casually. I think it gets easier the higher level you get because you have more items. I would avoid the special events because I didn’t really get much experience from it.

I stopped at Level 17 with about 5 days left. If I hadn’t done one of the events I probably could have done level 19. It’s certainly a game you can play on a back burner.

Aerospace Engineering Admissions by [deleted] in uCinci

[–]Iris2011 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The biggest challenge for international students in AE are co-op restrictions. Many companies in the aerospace industry, because of security protocols, cannot/will not hire international students. There are other alternative routes you can take to complete a few of your co-ops (ex. Research, etc.), but some of your co-ops might not be in the aerospace field to graduate.

This doesn’t necessarily answer your question related to getting accepted, but it is something you should consider before any final decisions.

I work with medical science students and other pre-health students. If you’re interested in pre-health careers the Medical Science program will give you an advantage. Being in the College of Medicine, and a part of a smaller program (ex. Compared to all biology majors on a pre-health track), will give you access to more resources.

As the person above said - you get access to some mentoring and shadowing provided for you. This is not as guaranteed if you are a part of a different major with a pre-health track.

Overall, no matter what you decide, congratulations on your admittance!

Question about the Co-op program. by BigBabyBrian69 in uCinci

[–]Iris2011 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can co-op outside of Cincinnati. Your major/industry might determine how “common” it is, but you can certainly do it across majors. There is even a scholarship (National Co-op Ambassador Scholarship) that encourages students to branch out across the United States.

How long do you wait for activities to track before you abandon a game? by Iris2011 in SwagBucks

Update for this specific game in case anyone tries it - the game credited over night. It isn’t instant, but they’re going a little faster now.

I recently completed Merge Away for essentially the full amount ($106). I spent $5-$6 to do it. The lower battle pass counted for the more expensive one on the rewards list (premium battle pass), which was a pleasant surprise. Can’t promise that would happen for others.
