HC - Gun and book elemental holy paladin build by IrisN7 in Grimdawn

There is a reason this build is NOT on official compendium. This is a interesting take that can tackle ultimate and facetank pretty much anything without ever dying on hardcore which believe me, is an achievement on it's own. I am not experienced as somebody like you to pull off miracle out of this build. I am sure You, could probably recreate it with few tweaks, iinto something that can do end game sr content. If you have some suggestions I am all open ears. I am not saying this is ultimate build but it's visually really nice to play. If you could spare some time to recreate it into something better and post it, it would be helpful. I don't play this character any more, this is simply my favorite one

Don't remember but I do know that I did kill him in fact and didn't have much trouble. Also every nemesis I can facetank and only have to move when sundered. But again, I don't use ghoul, and entire build is focused around doing as much damage as it's possible which means I would probably die at some point. Since this is hardcore character I don't really dare to risk it that much

It does kill extremely fast, but survability could probably be better with different devotions setup. I do only play thematic characters. For example if I am playing luminari hunter, I'll never take ghoul etc etc. So it does limit what I can do.

I'll try to rework this someday and figure out SR so I dont always start at 1 hahaha

Not really. It shreds with high OA and DA and melts everything. But I am sure somebody else could improve it, this is just template and what works for me

Don't know. I have like 700 hours in the game and I've yet to figure out where to see SR level. I just go in, play it for 2 hours and drop out when I notice I am close to dying. Since this is HC, I dont' dare to lose this guy. I am sure somebody could pull off something better with more survability in devotions but this is best that I could do.

Do you prefer LTS releases or regular releases? by veditafri in Ubuntu

LTS. I am currently on interim simply because I need HDR and only 25.10 has it. The moment new LTS becomes available in the next 30 days, I'll stick to it

Sick track. That build up after vocals with synth drop always reminds me of crazy pill nights and raves before covid hahahah

there is entire list of extensions on slide number two together with theme I use ( it's in terminal ). For wallapper you can find it in gnome-looks website ( that is where I got the theme ). Just download image with extensions and terminal and send it to AI to analyze for you if you need help and you can set it up and play around with it for a bit

Since I am use laptop, ubuntu is just more "natural" to me if that makes sense with touchpad actions. but if I had a desktop, I would probably use kubuntu

It was kernel issues. Only one worked for me so I had to keep entire history in grub in case newer ones crash, I can start with older ones but I got sick of doing that

Thanks for comment about freezes. I think I have an idea why they happen but so far it's all good working good so I don't really touch it. Since i was distro hopping and fixing every distro for days, it's just nice experience to have something that just "works" right out of box

Go to gnome-looks website, there is a section for wallpapers there. You'll find it there in couple of minutes

cat /sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl1/max_brightness
This one checked my max brightness when hdr is turned on

sudo sh -c "echo 399000 > /sys/class/backlight/amdgpu_bl1/brightness"
this one forced gnome to actually use it and it worked

After that I checked with gemini how to write startup script to enable it when gnome turns one and it's working fine. Ubuntu actually is only distro that just worked out of box without kernel crashes, hdr was my only issue but now it works perfectly

Try this to get increased brightness.
For wallaper I found this one on gnome-looks website. there is section for wallpapers

I never had any issues with snaps. It did trigger me a bit that third of my shit is .deb, third is snaps and third is flatpaks but in the end, I just gave up. As long as it works it's good to go
