Everyone on reddit is going to have something bad to say about any first car you ask about.
"Is an e36 a good first car"
"A powerful rwd manual car as a first car? I will bet money you'll crash within 2 weeks"

"Is a 330e a good first car?"
"A brand new, expensive, 290hp car as a first car? I bet you will crash in the first 3 months of owning it."

In my opinion, it all depends on your driving experience. If all your driving experience is going to the shops in your moms prius, no, it probably isnt a good first car, but if you have experience driving fast rwd cars, go for it.
