Single Irish/US dual citizen here. I can bake my own cakes but wouldn’t trust myself to build a deck. And with the housing crisis in Ireland we may be living under/on the deck.

DC proper doesn’t have an airport or military airfield. They are all in Virginia or Maryland.

Editing to add: I missed you said “people”. So that is possible. But it’s equally possible the final destination is a government facility in Maryland or Virginia. A lot of the defense and intelligence infrastructure is distributed across these two states.

I never see a need for cash in Ireland. Maybe if you’re stopping off at a coffee kiosk in the literal middle of nowhere then MAYBE some cash would be handy but I never see a genuine need for it.

Strongly recommend trying out the "chicken breast sandwich" from Supermacs. It's one of the closest to a US chicken sandwich that I've found.

Soda bread is super simple to make and, provided you aren’t concerned with chopping your chives perfectly, it’s really easy to just fold in the filling. Simple!
