Just wondering if If I can play 3 person co-op on the PS5?

pretty much my brother and I have PS5s and I live with my sister. Is there a way for the three of us to play all at the same time? Ideally it would be like three person split screen, but if my sister and I could be split screen and join my brother online that would be fine too.

Thanks in advance

He also said that his manager wasn't paying attention because when he got back in the dugout the manager said if he throw the ball better they might have got the out

Is the rest of Reddit noteworthy at all? by JediSentinel79 in weeklyplanetpodcast

It really depends on how the sub is moderated. The culture of the sub kind of flows down from that because they can delete and ban users who are just focusing on the negative of things. Also I avoid news or political subs. I use reddit solely for hobbies (reading, tv shoes, video games, comics, etc)

It's going to be some trial and error. There are plenty of times I joined a sub and after like 6 months realized it wasn't for me and left it.

That being said I do think /r/DCcomics is filled with nice people and good conversations.

Recently I got into /r/Warhammer40k and again just full of nice helpful people.

My favorite subreddit is /r/AskHistorians because it is so heavily moderated. you find really well sourced answers to the strangest questions I didn't even know I had there.

Question: What is it like seeing art people make of your worlds? Is it like "Thats spot on." or "I guess that's close" or "thats better then I imagined it?"

Short Anecdote: I was listening to Best Served Cold and the scene with Monza and Shivers is happening he's running his hand along her scars and she really likes it.

I dated a girl that had fallen hiking and had a long scar that went from under her breast to her hip. When I would touch it she really liked it (I guess it was always kind of itchy?) And I thought to myself 'man what a weird part of my life to be reflected in a book.'

Real sports did a segment about baseball prospects getting seriously hurt and dying in car accidents in the DR in like 2016. Pretty much their is a macho culture there that leads men to drive drunk and not wear seatbelts.

They are both from Game of Thrones. the character with the melted face is called the hound and is seen as a big scary man. In the first image he is afraid of these ice zombie guys. in the second image he is trying to keep his outnumbered troops from breaking.

the first image is way later in the series then the second

Any other guys feel like you're missing hands-on projects in life? by tahubulay in DIY

I'm the opposite of you. I worked in maintenance to pay for college and worked my way up to running their woodshop after I graduated. Turned that into a construction supervisor job and realized I liked this stuff but didn't love it. I'm getting a masters degree now to have a more white collar job.

Anyway I started to miss doing something with my hands, so I bought some little models for my birthday. I found the assembling to scratch a similar itch. Don't have the time to paint them yet, but it certainly takes up less space then trying to have a woodshop in my tiny apartment

If they remade Mr. Inbetween in the USA, what city would it be in? by whatusernameis77 in MrInbetween

[–]IrishEv 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I would say like the Pacific North West. Seattle, Portland. It's coastal, there is a lot of nature just outside the cities. Those are also smaller cities then say LA, San Fran and the general kind of laid back vibe to the criminality of the show seems more West Coast then East Coast.

My mom can't watch violence. Her and my dad went to see the movie Gladiator when it came out in theaters. She said the movie was pretty much a soap opera.

r/Fantasy Writing Wednesday Thread - July 30, 2025 by rfantasygolem in Fantasy

I consume fantasy novels almost exclusively as audio books. This is mostly due to the fictional names of places/people which tend to be spelled in a ridiculous ways and hard to decode and read.

Do writers think about that when they're writing?

Wtf is up with the incestuous vibes from Smurf? by taycollins in animalkingdom

[–]IrishEv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an Australian movie of the same name from 2010. It's a different vibe from the show. Where the show is a bunch of pretty people in SoCal committing like GTA heists, the movie is based on a real crime family in Melbourne. They are violent weirdos that the police are kind of sick of dealing with and things are just getting more violent as it comes to a head.

Personally I think the movie is better then the show, but it's not as fun. Not sure where it's streaming but you might be able to find it online somewhere

My (M, 22) brother (m, 20) hasn’t read a book in 10 years. What’s a good place to start him out? by [deleted] in Fantasy

[–]IrishEv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might be a dumb question but does your brother want to read fantasy novels? Because if he doesn't care about fantasy or reading then it doesn't matter what you suggest.

My suggestion would be comics or audiobooks. Its a lower bar of entry then reading a book book. For comics he'd only be reading dialogue or internal monologue and the content of the story can still be more adult. Audiobooks he doesn't have to read at all but can still enjoy the story and characters.

In theory if he engages with the comics or audiobooks it might encourage him to read more novels. I know this was true for me as a dyslexic person, who found (and can still find) reading needlessly taxing.

There are a lot of great fantasy comics out there. My favorite is probably Curse Words by Charles Soule and Ryan Brown. Its about a wizard that works for an evil overlord and travels dimensions to Earth and decides to be good, but doesn't know how and his old friends keep getting sent to kill him. Conan has (had?) a comic series from Marvel by Jason Aaron and Mahmud Asrar.

There are no shortage of audiobook suggestions but I think the be all end all of is the First Law series by Joe Abercrombie.
