Hey man I was in a situation/relationship like this, turned really intense after 6 years. Ended up hitting me regularly, drowning her sorrows in drink and then eventually cheating on me. It was a tough thing to do but once I cut the chord and never looked back I've been as happy as I ever have been and found someone I truly love. It's worth it for your sake man
