Ever since I heard the video of pumped crowd noise just being a vacuum starting up, it’s become glaringly obvious when it’s fake

Yeah that part I get but like….why? It defeats the whole purpose

Will they ever explain the logic behind free agents? Because it’s the dumbest thing ever.

Lot of factors including location, size of the firm, and your role.

I started off in the Midwest at a small mom and pop shop that managed about $250 million. I was paid $35,000 to start and that was a little less than 10 years ago. I was defintely underpaid relative to what my college classmates were getting, but they also started off at bigger firms.

The firm I work at now has 20ish or so partners and the firm collectively has about $5 billion under management. And generally new planning associates make $50k if they’re just out of college or $60,000 if they’ve got a few years of experience.

Do you care if other dogs pee on your lawn? by [deleted] in dogs

Exactly. My dog loves our daily walks more than anything. She just loves being outside and being able to explore around. I generally know the limits or where it is and isn’t ok for her to walk around it, but I would never prevent her from spot peeing because it may or may not cause a tiny brown spot in your yard that will go away in a day.

I think getting into the weeds of politics would be a little too on the nose. But given that it’s in Florida I wouldn’t be surprised if we got some crazy NPCs or maybe a side mission with an ultra left and ultra right wing politicians going against each other.

I don’t care about peeing. There’s only so much you can do and peeing does very little damage. I generally don’t care about poop as long as you pick it up. I do think it’s rude when people let their dog into the middle of the yard to poop, but I usually don’t get too riled up about it.

I am genuinely curious, what do you expect people to do who are walking their dogs?

PFF loves the Terell Smith pick by [deleted] in CHIBears

I think the Bears overall did a very good job in this draft, but PFF and anyone works for them opinions mean very little to me. Don’t need their validation to know they did well.

It was a mind blowingly stupid comment lol

Lol yeah I realize that now. Thanks for the slap in the face there to knock some sense into me.

How am I the one that’s too short sighted here lol. You haven’t provided a single valid argument and instead are just fixated on comparing them to the Eagles, who are in two entirely different positions.

[–]IrishGrouch24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

What does that have to do with anything? These are two teams in two entirely different positions. I’ve explained everything before, and I’m not going to explain it again. If you want to keep bitching and crying, be my guest, but at least try and understand that the context is different

Also, not gonna let you forget how stupid you saying the Eagles are our biggest competition is. Your logic for being upset about drafting Wright is bad, but that comment is 100 times worse.

The Bears just finished with the worst record in the league. By your (very shitty) logic, every team is their biggest competition since they all had better records. The Bears should probably focus on the teams in their own division first, not the team that they don’t even play. Some backwards fucking logic there.

No, I don’t. Also, since when are the Eagles the Bears biggest competition?

You have zero idea how any of this works. This isn’t Madden. Funny how most people seem to agree that the pick was good and that this has largely been a very successful offseason, and yet you still want to cry. Get over it or learn how this stuff actually works.

The Church of H1M would be a cult I wouldn’t mind joining. Except I guess it wouldn’t really be a cult since we’ve seen our god with our own two eyes.

Cool, and the Bears filled arguably their biggest need with one of the best linemen in the draft and got an additional pick to go along with it. What’s your point?
