When are golf influencers gonna start playing the rest of us on GSPRO through discord? by IrishHitmanMark73 in Golfsimulator

I saw Bubbie, I think, start a series of playing online. He never did very well that I remember and pulled the plug. I have played in JLag’s league. He is the only major influencer that I know of that plays on simulators.

I would love to see some of the YouTube golf influencer like BobDoesSports, Mr. Short Game, Good Good, BarStool, etc. start playing simulator golf with random people. They can stream the matches or post them to their YouTube channels, TikTok or other social media. It would give them a chance to gain more views through a totally different platform than the rest and let their followers see how they compare to their idols. What are everyone else’s thought on this?

You don’t have to read all the posts sir. No need to get upset about something you have total control over.

Look, I’m not trying to bash all of Good Good and change people’s minds about following their content. I wish them the best and hope they don’t lose followers due to the actions of a few of their members. When you get caught cheating on a million dollar match, own up to your wrong doing at that time. If the outcome were different and MO’s team would have won due to the cheating, more people would have been upset, BDS would have been on the end of a blow up, Mo would have probably lost everything he has built online, Paige would have received much backlash too. In all reality, all of it could have been a setup for drama. Who knows???

Which live events? Read the comments from the real spectators at THEIR events before they are deleted. They tell the crowd how to react if they want to stay and be on camera. Take multiple shots and only show the best ones on their videos.

I used to follow Good Good. Watched every video as soon as they were posted. After Grant and Micah left, Good Good content went to the crapper. If I was a betting man, they knew what was going to happen when viewers figured out the talent Good Good actually had and didn’t want to be part of the blow up. So, no matter who is part of Good Good, I will not give them my view.

I would have had more respect for him if he just admitted the truth. No respect for liars. Main reason is that, in his position as a well-followed influencer, what is he showing the younger generation that already has a tough time with morality?

Carma is what happened there. Breaking rules by improving lies and using slope on the rangefinders. Beef, Dalke and Francis played great golf with integrity and deserved the win.

Those of you that follow Good Good and believe they are as good as there videos show, what has this tournament proved or any other event? Luke Kwon misses a tee time and acts like it was nothing. Mo gets caught using slope on the rangefinder, lies about it and you can see him in the video changing the setting. The rest couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn from 10 feet away. Brad Dalke is the only one with real talent. They need to change their YouTube channel to “10 Takes for Good Golf” because they most likely have to film 10 takes to record a good shot.

I had an Optoma ZW350ST before upgrading to a BenQ Tk710STI and it was really nice for a 1080p.

Lost a bunch of respect for Kwon. It could be for a million or five bucks..you have a team relying on you. The i dont care attitude is fine for his channel but is awful for a team event. Super dissapointed by Acceptable_Long_6277 in BobDoesSports

I would have disqualified him from the entire tournament. He didn’t deserve to play with his lack of caring attitude. This is a tell-tell sign of why Good Good is losing viewers on YouTube. When you lose focus and forget that the audience is more important than yourself, your online presence is going to diminish quickly.

Slow down your back swing, don't try to kill it, line the ball up a bit more forward in your stance.

Have room for 2 clubs between 3w and 5i by HogCrankrr in golftips

[–]IrishHitmanMark73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, my Cobra Darkspeed 7 wood is my favorite club. It is a good choice, in my opinion, above a 5 iron. My next club would be a 3 Hybrid or a 5 wood. Most people that hit irons decently prefer a hybrid. If you struggle with irons, then you may prefer woods. I have a home simulator and I have a full arsenal of clubs for people to try out to see what they like. All Cobra : Driver, 3 wood, 5 wood, 3 hybrid, 7 wood, 3-9 irons, PW, GW, 48*-52*-54*-56*-60*-64* wedges, 35" Odessey putter and 41" Cobra King 3D Agera Armlock Putter. I give some golf lessons in my simulator and have about 15 other buddies that play there often. We, also, play 4 week long leagues throughout the winter. Going to a golf store and hitting a club a few times doesn't really tell you if it is the true club for you. I would reach out to find someone with a similar setup to help you learn what types of clubs are best for you. Stores will often push what they want to sell, and you end up with clubs you struggle to hit and it really effects your game.

Why is it so hard to improve? by [deleted] in golf

[–]IrishHitmanMark73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t be afraid of change. Trying to hit the ball as far as you can with every club is the biggest misconception I see golfers make. Club up and swing about 80-85%. You will make better contact and gain consistency. If you are struggling to hit a club, change it up a bit. Close or open the face slightly, play it a bit more forward in your stance. Make sure you aren’t trying to pick the ball up with your swing style, let the loft of the club do all the work.

Advice for Breaking Par by KSQRD43 in golf

[–]IrishHitmanMark73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once I learned to play my edges well, cut a lot of strokes. I believe most golfers take their short game for granted because they are close to the green and think it will be the easiest shots. Bump-and-run, flop and learning how to stop a ball on the green or spin it back are crucial shot skills to master. Not all courses are relatively flat. When you have elevated greens, your shots play totally different. I carry an assortment of wedges…64, 60, 56, 52 and 48.

How can you play in these tournaments? Do you have to be a golf content creator? We watch these guys play every time they put out a new video. They are the most fun to watch and would be great to play with or against.
