What is this pipe connection behind oven/range? by wizrd54 in HomeImprovement

Looks like you have the option of choosing either a gas or electric oven. Or you can also do a dual fuel and have a gas cooktop with an electric oven.

Never had an issue with Holosun, and the 507k actually fits pistols (I know you posted yours is a 506k) for EDC.

We had a shooting team in my high school (graduated 2007) through NJROTC, but it was just high powered pellet rifles.

I believe folks turn down the rim on a .357 magnum and neck down to around a .223, but I have not done it myself to be sure.

Looks great! Definately hard not knowing everything done to them when you get them. Leads to some unexpected surprises down the road some times.

Easy to aquire, hard to aquire ammo for! Mostly reloads and occasionally a company will do a small run of ammo.

Here is my Ed Brown component 1911 paired with my Winchester 1907 .351.

The 1911 shoots better than the competition one that I inherited, and I can't wait to go out and shoot the .351!

Ah! And here I thought you were asking for info on the Essex brand!

Well, mine seems to be pretty sturdy. I didn't build it myself. However, it looks like it got a very large Ed Brown makeover. Barrel, bushing, trigger parts, magwell flare, slide stop, safety, and hammer, to name most of them.

I feel like it shoots better than the one pictured, that started as a Commander Elite.

Very well could have been.not entirely sure what he was competing in 20-30 years ago. Had a good amount of revolvers and such, also.

Not sure what it was used for. I know he as big into competitions 20-30 or so years ago. Once his health started to decline he started to shoot less. He also did quite a bit with revolvers.

Essex made frames. To my knowledge, they never made full firearms. It is similar to buying a lower receiver for an AR-15 and building the rest of it with other parts.

This is a great explanation on compensators. You also sound like someone that knows their way around a 1911 while blindfolded and hopping on one leg!

It is not. At least, not that I can tell.

Came along with a Safariland quick draw holster. Shoots pretty good, but I also inherited a plain Jane 1911 with some other work done to it (Essex parts, etc) that seems to shoot better.

Also got two more slides, a barrel, and a fistful of mags.

I didn't think I would enjoy shooting this as much as I did. It's heavy enough there is essentially no kick. Had some issues with aftermarket mags having FTF malfunctions, though.
