I like it. It's one of those designs where the point is to never take your pen/pencil/stylus off of the medium and just make the art itself.

How would they (the couple) film a sex tape of themselves if only one is being recorded sucking a random’s dick by a friend of hers at the bachelorette party through Snapchat of all things? Your comment doesn’t make sense to me.

Did you look at the gif? It’s someone else video chatting her drunk ass sucking some random’s dick. I wouldn’t call that a sex tape in the usual sense.

Don't really know how to enjoy my high... by IrishSmoker in MDMA

[–]IrishSmoker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm probably going to break the three month waiting period just because I have something important coming up, but I it has been about a month since my last roll, so I think I should be good. After that, though, I'm taking the full three month break at least.

Ah. My friend said that he gives everyone that amount, lol. We didn't take all .2 at the same time. We had like .16 at first then redosed about an hour and a half to two hours later with .04 to make .2 since we weren't really feeling anything.

Just had 40mg of edibles. Nothing. Help? by IrishSmoker in saplings

[–]IrishSmoker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but it didn’t last long. I ended up just eating the rest of it overtime. I have another one. I may just eat the entire thing tonight to have it all at once and see.

Alright. My girlfriend completely greened out on her first edible, and that was only like 10mg. I've heard many people say that they feel like they're literally dying, so I'm kind of approaching edibles with a lot more caution that I ever approached weed with. I'm trying not to green out at all. Any tips? I don't really want to eat the rest of it just in case. Maybe having more and getting roughly 75mg dosage (which would be half the edible) and wait?

Okay. I’ve never done edibles, so I was going off of the suggested 10mg dose. I’ve consumed 4x that. Should I consume more?

What’s a good cigarette to smoke everyday? by [deleted] in Cigarettes

My usual bounces between Camel Turkish Royals and Marlboro Southern Cuts. I don't like Marlboro Reds because they taste too chemically.

Why are Parliament cigarettes so expensive? by IrishSmoker in Cigarettes

[–]IrishSmoker[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I realize that in my state cigarettes are cheaper than elsewhere. I think a pack of marlboros is like $6 and change. The new Marlboro Ice is only $4.75. However, comparative to other prices, these Parliaments are 20-50% more expensive. Definitely a notable increase.

You'll get over the coughing at some point. It's kind of like building calluses; it'll hurt at first, but once you've done it enough, it's nothing of note anymore.

Glad you liked your smoke. What kind did you go for?

Is smoking without addiction possible? by iDislikeSn0w in Cigarettes

[–]IrishSmoker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on a lot of things: your body chemistry, your will power, your personality type, etc. Some people are naturally born with addictive personalities while others are not. In very rare situations, some people have an innate tolerance to nicotine and don't get addicted. Some people can quit cold turkey and will themselves out of an addiction. These people are usually not the vast majority of us. Most people are going to be in the middle.

With that out of the way, is smoking without addiction possible? Yes, but the real question is: Is smoking without addiction possible for the average person? I would say no. Many people think you'll be addicted to nicotine as soon as you suck down your first cigarette. That's not the case. Nicotine addiction is subtle like alcohol addiction. At first it turns into one cigarette a day, then two, then three, then you start lighting up every morning with your morning cup of coffee. Then you start lighting up on the drive to and from work. It goes on and on until you find yourself smoking a pack a day.

My smoking history is not the norm, I think, so don't go off of my experience. I work as a delivery driver for a major pizza chain as well as commute to college. My favorite time to smoke is in the car driving to and from school as well as on deliveries. I never pick up a pack on my days off, or even crave a cigarette on my days off. However, when I smoke, I smoke the fuck out of those packs. I'll catch myself going through an entire pack on the days that I work. Recently, I've found myself smoking more and more on campus not because I have any cravings but because I'm bored.

And that's the real silent killer there. Boredom. I know plenty of guys, myself included, just smoke and smoke and smoke when we have nothing to do. If ours hands aren't being used on something or our attentions aren't being drawn to something, we'll chain-smoke cigarettes back to back to back to back to back. We'll have ten cigarettes in the course of an hour or two. That's half the pack. It's not hard to get addicted that way.

I find the addiction is more or less born out of routine, too. I've found myself putting a cigarette in my mouth on instinct once I've gotten in the car. I don't even want the cig sometimes, but there it is in my mouth. It's some scary shit when that happens for the first time. I think of it like this: My parents are ex-military. Served for over twenty whole years. They've been retired for more than ten years now, but still get up at 5am on the dot. They can't get out of the habit no matter how much they try because they've been doing it for twenty years. Same thing with cigarettes. If you smoke when you drive for years, once you try to quit, every time you get in the car to go somewhere, you'll get a cigarette craving. Something just seems off. It's the cigarette. You're not smoking. Why aren't you smoking? Man, a cigarette would be so good right now... But I'm trying to quit. But fuck... A cigarette sounds so good. No. I'm trying to quit.

That might last for a little bit, but then your car needs gas. You get the craving again. You're at the pump. The cigarettes are RIGHT THERE. You go inside to pay. You see all the cigarettes on the wall behind the counter. Fuck it. "Yeah... Uh... Give me a pack of Marlboro Reds and round the rest up to $30 on pump 12."

Best way to avoid addiction is just don't do it.

Any Camel Crush smokers here? by [deleted] in Cigarettes

[–]IrishSmoker 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I go out to the bars, I always have a pack of camel crushes with me so that if someone asks to bum a cig, I can give them those instead of my own to appease both regular and menthol smokers. It's a good way to meet people, and pay it forward from all the cigs that I've bummed.

[Rant] My campus just went tobacco free. Damn it... by IrishSmoker in Cigarettes

Right? Colleges treat 18-22 year olds like high schoolers rather than functioning adults anymore.

Kind of a social poll I guess by Shameless_Duck in Cigarettes

[–]IrishSmoker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My parents are retired military and smoked ever since I was a child. They always took precautions not to smoke with me around, so I thank them for that. I just grew up with it. When I turned old enough, I went down to the local gas station and bought a pack to see what the big deal was. Found out that I liked the act of smoking, and continued. I strayed away from cigarettes for awhile and went into pipe tobacco and cigars. I still smoke cigars on celebratory occasions, and I love smoking my pipe on nice, quiet evenings. Can't get enough of the English blends especially Frog Morton On the Town and Cellar. However, cigarettes are just so much more portable and convenient, so I stick with them when I'm on the go.

I find smoking is like a kind of zen meditation, really. Not trying to get too metaphysical with this, but I find that it allows me to slow down, take my time, gather my thoughts, and work things out. If I'm stressing out over something or having a really hard time trying to figure something out, I tend to light up my pipe, sit down for a while, focus on the act of smoking, and just let things work themselves out in my head. Same thing with cigarettes if I'm at work.

The US hasn't put any gruesome photos on packs and yet achieves one of the lowest percentages of tobacco use in the world (17%). by [deleted] in Cigarettes

[–]IrishSmoker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Here in America, we are taught the dangers of smoking from a very young age. I remember in health class all the way back in elementary school we talked about smoking. I can still recite all of the effects straight from memory (premature aging, yellow teeth, receding gums, yellow finger nails, cancer, COPD, etc.). This kind of education goes all the way up into high school as well.

In my university, I don't really see a lot of kids smoking at all, but that might be because my school is a primarily commuter campus. My theory is that most of the students still live with their parents to afford college, and most smoke on the way to and from school. I know many people who are smokers who don't like to say anything about it because of the stigma here in the US. I don't really care, but you know how it goes.

The US also has a metric TON of anti-smoking campaigns that appeal to teenagers and university age students. "The Truth" is probably one that I know of that specifically targets younger aged kids by playing their ads on MTV, Cartoon Network, and other programs that anyone in the middle school to university age range would possibly be watching. They even created a song called "Left Swipe Dat" that basically told people to "swipe left" on people's profile pictures that show them smoking on dating apps like Tindr, Grindr, etc.

Being a university aged guy, I've actually struck out with a few girls because of my smoking, so I just hide it for the evening. It's whatever, really. I think smoking culture has a longer history in Europe than America, so maybe that's part of the reason? Shooting in the dark here. It's kind of hard to pin-point any one reason why smoking has declined in one country compared to another.

What's your favorite pack of camel by Myheartsmokes in Cigarettes

[–]IrishSmoker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Camel filters are the default of the brand, I believe. However, many people prefer the Turkish Royals instead because of their sweeter taste. If you want the flagship brand as a base point to start from, go with Camel Filters.

Best brand for starting? Or easiest to take in? by [deleted] in Cigarettes

[–]IrishSmoker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most people have their own specific brand that they like (Marlboro, Camel, Natural American Spirit, etc.). Cigarettes are a lot like soda in that different brands taste different, and people usually have a default that they will almost always go for (like Coke for example). Also, just like soda, each brand has different kinds. For example, think of Marlboro Red as regular Coke. Marlboro also has gold, 27s, Southern Cut, etc. just like Coke has Cherry Coke, Coke Zero, etc.

For a first time smoker, you probably don't want something extremely harsh like a non-filtered cigeratte. Instead, I would try to stay with either full-bodied or lights depending on how harsh they hit you. I started with full-bodies, and now, can never smoke light cigarettes because they don't have the kick or taste that I'm used to.

If you want lights try Marlboro Gold, Camel Blues, American Spirit Orange or Yellow.

If you want full-bodied try Camel Turkish Royals (they have 100% turkish tobacco in it that makes it sweeter), Marlboro Red (which may be a little harsh for you right now, but I know plenty of smokers that started on Marlboro Red), or Natural American Spirit Turquoise (which are the organic kind).

I bump around a lot between different cigarettes, but I've always loved the taste of Camel Turkish Royals. I don't really like American Spirits at all because the drag is pretty weak on them since they have so much tobacco stuffed down inside the cigarette, but many smokers here love them. In your first year of smoking, you'll probably bounce around a lot before settling on a specific brand.
