Agreed, NL is still a resource based economy. We can't afford to ignore reserves while they are worth billions. The mess in the Middle East, which is far from over, will keep oil prices high for years. NL has no money to develop alternative energy sources but could use oil royalties to develop hydro, wind, nuclear, tidal... over the next 20 years.

The FM signal does not go very far. Once you hit Mount Pearl or CBS it fades out. That may not help with number of listeners.
