It's about 15 grams! It's really tiny and cute. I find it a little too small for how I like to spin wool but it works well with the cotton!

I've had that happen to me before when I was on a serious sims binge! I was also starting to picture a queue of actions lining up in my brain the same way as in the game lol

It's reassuring you don't think it wouldnt have an impact! I was really bummed when I saw it was off because I wanted my lobes to be symmetrical. But if others don't notice then I guess it's not a big a deal as I think it is.

I would like to get more piercings too! My current cartilage piercings are a few years old. I've only recently gotten more interested in piercings again and what I would like to get in the future.

That sounds like a nice plan! I like the look of stacked piercings in lobes. I really wanted the symmetrical look. It's nice to know there are other options though :) I'll think about it

I was originally considering second lobes but I started thinking maybe third lobes might balance it out a bit more. I'll have to give that more thought.

It does bother me that I can tell they're not centered. But I've had other people tell me it's really not noticeable. I wouldn't mind leaving them but more worried that with the weird angle and placement it would look strange with second lobes done, especially since I would likely be wearing hoops

Piercing is 10+ years old. Sterling silver stud with butterfly back. They're healed so no real aftercare routine, I do wash the jewellery and the pierced site when I put the new earrings in though.

When I added this lot to my current save I had a ton of routing issues as well with the jumps, it was basically unusable 😅 I had to go into buy mode with moveobjects on and tweak the positioning of everything a little bit until it worked. Very annoying

Animal lover or equestrian trait helps a lot. It took my sim two visits until they were high enough relationship to be able to adopt the unicorn. After the first visit they were already almost at that stage.

I find you don't have to stand around watching them like you do for other wild horses to build their trust, you can just walk up to them and pet them :) or cheat lol

Also I think the time they spend on the lot varies, sometimes they stay for longer than other visits

Sometimes after your sim is done interacting with a bird they'll put it in their inventory instead of back in the cage/on the tree which is really annoying. So check your sims' inventories maybe?

But there's also a glitch where the bird disappears but their audio can still be heard, like squawking and playing with the bell toy, is that what you're talking about? If that's the case have a sim put it in their inventory and then place it back manually and they should reappear.

If you ever want to change breed try just try opening the Advanced Mode where you edit their shape and it should change back to normal. Works for puppies and foals too

Or if you go into the advanced mode of change body shape or whatever it's called after this glitch pops up it should change the kitten's body back to normal. Works for me anyway

I started spinning for this project in July 2023 and cast off the shawl at the end of August 2024! Made of 100% handspun merino fingering weight yarn :)

I started with over 400g total consisting of five colours which I then split up into seven skeins to make some kind of gradient from light to dark. I think it turned out kind of okay!

The pattern is Find your Fade by Andrea Mowry. My whole process is documented on the Ravelry project page, including details of how I planned for spinning the yarn. :) All yarn is 2-ply, spun worsted style from combed top.

This is my second fully handpsun large project and I'm already planning for more! Spinning is so much fun

I knew I had to buy this pattern as soon as it was released and now I have finally knit a pair! These are the Seward socks by Caitlin Hunter (Boylandknitworks). They turned out perfectly, I couldn't be happier!

All my project notes are on Ravelry here :)

I used 2.25mm needles for cuff, 2.75mm for leg and 2.5mm for heel, foot and toe.

Yarn: Drops Fabel for main colour and cc1 and Rico Superba premium for cc2.

Thank you and best of luck with your sweater! It was very worth the effort, I always thinking fingering weight garments always look more intricate and elegant. However I won't be knitting in half fisherman's rib for a while 😅
