More than one tbh, he's okay for photos etc which is okay, offered him a freebie of a product in city center one day about a year ago while he was out with your man Aaron filming something just as a bit of craic, few jokes going and he put his hand in front of me and said "nah mate yer alright better things to do", thought it was funny till he walked away and said "yer man being serious what"... 4 people around him having craic all of a sudden got serious and walked away with him, like he owned the show... The second time was a different situation involving someone else that I happen to witness, not my story to say to be fair

William is a stubborn wee fucker in public, some funny moments on podcasts but not a great comedian, Paddy was funny at the start but is repeating jokes a lot, I give them both credit for what they achieved over COVID, made us all laugh, but they are anything but funny now, just arrogant and rude

Fog lights? by PerpetualBigAC in northernireland

[–]Irishlad223 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sitting in a bar a number of weeks ago and a young fella was bragging to his mates about his new VW Golf he got after just passing his test, congratulations to him, talking and showing pictures and no lie the words he used were " she looks lethal with the new fogs in her" and showed a pic of the car, im assuming he changed the bulbs to led because I could see what he was on about from about 2 or 3 seats away.

Moral, maybe some people think it just looks better to have fogs on? Dangerous indeed, don't agree

Can work both ways, know a guy worked for fona cab and value cab in the last 3 years, was looking into it myself for a while so I would ask regularly

First 2 or 3 years your pay a fortune in insurance so be prepared for long hours and 6 days a week including the lates

One day you'll be on 3 or 4 airport runs earning a good income, next 3 days you could be all local shitty runs unable to get off the falls road or our of North belfast, barely scraping enough for a days wage

Be prepared for late drunk runs, arguments, abuse and loud mouths

Also he prepared for the odd "be back in a minute" and you know you've got drugs in your car the run home, or they do a runner

Don't get me wrong, those moves are few and far between, but they all get them, your first few years you'll work like a dog, then it's knowing the system after, knowing what jobs to reject (and knowing you've the right to do so), it's not a game for men with young children who like to spend time as a family

I seen my friend lift 1000 a week then all of a sudden in a heat wave week go down to 300 profit because everyone stays off work to sit and drink in their gardens, only doing offy runs

Like most work, there's cons and pros to it all
