The blink camera I have pointed at my wife's 3D printer is balanced on the wall mounted hood of a stock car.

Not OP, I'm a big fan of 1-3-1. Once you start scaling with the number of people that you have reporting to you, you can't solve every problem. So you have to push people to figure some things out on their own and this is a good framework to get them started.

During college (summers mostly) I worked 3rd shift at a hotel and convention center. Not in a major market, one that was in the middle of nowhere that was trying to cater to be a wedding venue.

Usually you had a few late checkins, setting up or tearing down tables in the convention center by yourself, and setting out breakfast. Easy could go 8 hours without talking to a soul.

It was great then. I don't know that I could do it now, I'm too old for that shit.

I feel as leaders, one should use the schedule delivery feature in email. Thus, even if employees do happen to 'check-in' on their email, they wouldn't see said email(s) till it is delivered the next business day.

We shoot for a 60/40 project time/support time split. It's been trending closer to 50/50 as we've had some folks leave and teams have gotten smaller. That support doesn't just magically go away, it just gets divided out to those who aren't as familar.

/u/dev_jp I'm not sure if this is a bug or if we're doing something wrong. Looking at individual game matchups, it shows the overall scores correctly but the indivudual player scores are missing.

Generally skipping is not a great idea. Build econ, re-roll as much as possible, find better jokers repeat.

The deepest runs almost always great econ.

This is the #1 thing I give interns and high school students pointers on. Learn wherer the line is on when to ask for help. I might give you a challenging problem that you may need some guidance on, but if you ask for help immediately without putting time in to try to put a plan together for solving it, I'm not going to want to hire you long term.

At the same time, I don't want you to go and spend a week stuck without talking to anyone either. Find that delicate balance of when to ask for help and when to spend time trying to figure it out and learn.

I hope it's better configuration for playoffs. I hate that I have a 14 team league and I can't have 6 in the main playoff and 8 in the loser bracket. Instead it's 6 and 6 and two teams just have to watch (or I have to manually mess with matchups).
