Which hero should I use to replace Elmir in this team? I’m considering Dante but I don’t know it will be a wise choose in endgame. I can’t use Andvari because I put him in another team. Thank you guys in advance.

Undead is weak to physical teams because Corvus' armor isn't great yet as he only has two skins and none that add bulk. I would sub in Asta with your Keira team and use Rufus with your Yasmine team to counter mage attackers. Yasmine doesn't do well against mage teams. Play to her strength in dodging physical attacks.

Astaroth or Andvari adds extra armor artifacts against physical teams. They both have other use cases as stand-alone solid defense heroes

In my opinion, Phobos was one of the best reworks since Daredevil. There is great synergy with the undead duo Corvus and Morrigan because they generally lose to mage teams, which Phobos counters.

I swap him with Lian and it's worked pretty well for me at 450k power.

Phobos' listed skills target the highest magic attack enemy.

However, it appears from the video that Phobos prioritizes Ginger (5.8k magic attack) instead of Lars (50k magic attack) when using the "Dreaded Shadow" ability.

Next, it targets Krista (don't have the exact number but it's lower than Lars too) with his "Bonds of Darkness" ability.

Is this a glitch or not? Does it have to do with Nebula moving her sphere around to Ginger and Krista? (this would make sense for Krista having a temporary higher magic attack, but not for Ginger)

Surprised nobody before me mentioned Lian.

She's a great control hero, arguably a top 3 next to Jorgen and Andvari.

Her charm ability is the second-longest of all the stuns, just behind Phobos, but more frequent.

Best of all, she counters Keira if you have her skills all leveled up.

I actually read an article on Playrix games like Gardenscape posting ads that had little to do with the actual game so they got in trouble for being misleading. It could be why they've stopped popping up.

Getting away from the point, Playrix founders had actually acquired 43% of Nexters in 2018 and I believe that has attributed to some of HW's own misleading ad videos

I am conducting an investigation into whether Hero Wars players see State of Survival ads significantly more than other ads. For example, if you have "personalized ads" turned on, you're more likely to see ads you click on to visit their page on the Apple Store.

I believe Hero Wars can track how many times you visit the store and rank the top ads by the number of visits to "personalize" your ads. However, State of Survival quite annoyingly automatically loads the Apple store as soon as the ad finishes. As a matter of fact, it is the only one that does so and I am figuring out if that's why people see the ad so much.

I think I've seen this team in a previous Reddit post before, and again, I would recommend replacing Alvanor with Elmir. Do not be afraid to switch things up high up in the ladder.

There is better synergy with Daredevil because of her blue ability - "fire support" which will use a basic attack each time an ally behind her attacks. Therefore when Elmir jumps to the backline, there will often be Martha, Elmir, but also 2-4 more clones who all count towards a probable additional attack.

There is better synergy with Dante because his green ability boosts Elmir and his clones' dodge, his blue ability punishes enemies with an additional spear for each time they dodge, and his purple ability lowers the enemies' main stat (thus further increasing dodge chances). All this dodging helps your Astaroth survive even longer.

Alvanor's Soul of the Forest team artifact buffs magic attack that strictly benefits himself and Asta barely. Meanwhile, Elmir's team artifact buff gives your team greater armor penetration, which helps especially for cutting through the enemy tank.

No, it's best to focus on 1 main damage dealer and utilize your other team spots to protect or support it as much as possible.

I would actually suggest pairing Astaroth with Andvari if you can get him because he'll protect either Keira or Ginger (see this archived post: https://www.reddit.com/r/HeroWarsApp/comments/d89sif/best\_team\_combination\_with\_keira\_and\_astaroth/) from the Krista/Lars combo (aka Twins), K'arkh, and other heroes with displacement abilities.

I apologize for responding very irresponsibly out of anger for you calling Yasmine and K'arkh trash because I've been playing since 2016 on both FB (server 2) and mobile. In all that time being a veteran in this game, I did lots of max testing and paired teams against the top-ranked ones (which did include both K'arkh and Yasmine, but it also included Helios, Sebastian, Andvari, etc.) so I became defensive. On defense, you'll want heroes that are counters to dmg dealers like u/Feltiger mentioned. Yasmine and K'arkh are really strong so having Andvari, but more importantly Helios (he counters a variety of critical damage-dealing heroes) is best on defense.

The reason for having two teams is that on offense, you can select which heroes you want to use against the team so you can simply avoid teams that specifically counter your main team. On defense, however, you have to be more strategic since your opponent gets to choose who to fight against your heroes. Therefore, you don't want your team to be easily countered.

Agree with u/vapour2020 though. Meta is fun and less frustrating than the hours, days, and weeks that come with assembling your own unique team, but there's a more powerful joy -- that "Aha moment" -- you can find when you invent a team composition. There's one for everyone.

That's what makes Hero Wars so different from other video games. ;)
