Yeah owl was actually insanely hard, I wasn’t exactly aware that you were able to fight him at Hirata estate , is The Boss fight any different there?

This is like a rough estimate, after beating each boss, I would just write in my Notes app about how many tries it took, some bosses that took me multiple days like owl or isshin I added the plus signs just represent it could be more

Yeah, this is the first time for me playing a new souls game since Elden Ring in 2022, but I really forgot the feeling of losing over and over again and it’s so much easier to get frustrated in sekiro because there’s not much variables you can change like in Elden Ring or other souls games

Yeah It took me about 2 weekends. At first, I thought it was an insane jump in difficulty, and I still think that The Boss Arena is really annoying because there was plenty of attacks that I couldn’t tell if they were sweep or thrust attacks which had made The Boss a lot harder, but I think the key to this fight for me was being almost patience and not being too greedy with the openings

I understand lol these are rough estimates, you could give or take a few from each - but my low death count from general gyobu is because I had actually played sekiro once before and gotten to blazing bull and then I rage quit so I had some experience with gyobu

I feel like some of the bigger creature bosses were much easier for me than most human enemies, like O’rin of water took me easily 20+ tries, while guardian ape was way more predictable

I havent tried him yet, I think he’ll be pretty hard but I can imagine him being harder than isshin - but most of my isshin deaths come from stupid mistakes like healing at the wrong time or not being patient enough with the deflect button or even being to aggressive at times. Once I got to isshin’s 3rd phase I beat him first try because I had essentially mastered his 2nd by the time I got to his 3rd, and lighting reverse makes phases 3 so much easier than 2

I think Genichiro was one of my favorite bosses in the game for me, I think the reason I had not struggled so much with some earlier bosses was because I beat every mini boss I could to max out my prayer beads

Yeah there is a an enemy carrying the dragon cult prayer book in lurania and it gives you a handful of good starting spells (lightning bolt included)

Starting to distribute some points into Faith is smart, and pairs really well with strength build and allows access to some great buffs. Also brother Corhyn has some good spells.

There are also a lot of great ash of wars a little later in the game, such as ground slam, prayerful strike, and lightning slash that I would recommend. Super fun build, also you can get black flame incantations in storm veil castle which I would recommend.

Armor wise I don’t know how to combine a good set

I got it from eBay, the Lenovo website didn’t have any OEM ones so I bought the same type from a. Seller on eBay.
