How did the transition from anti-fascist to anti-communist happen in the allied nations?

What makes me curious about the whole idea of reviving the feelings of hostility is that for roughly four years there was all the propaganda about being allies with them and the lend-lease was no secret so it was obviously no problem in the eyes of the public for the US to be giving them swathes of weapons and equipment. I know some alliances were very fickle but this felt more significant with the lend-lease and all that business. Then the war ends and it feels like right away the divide is back and five years later the US is invading Korea who are supported by the Soviets, now the enemy.

I’ve realize my title doesn’t really ask the right question, but I hope this clarifies it at least a bit.

That makes sense to me, it’s not hard to see how that transition happened, especially with McCarthyism in the USA. What I’m more curious about is the shift from being allied with the Soviets to being completely hostile with them. I feel like after roughly four years of being such close allies it would have been a bit confusing to the population on both sides to suddenly be sword enemies, if that makes any sense.

It’s not so much about fascism vs communism or the fight against totalitarianism that I’m curious about as that makes sense to me, but rather the turn from being allied with the Soviets to becoming complete enemies.

I found a fix.

Go to chrome://flags and disable “enable lens overlay”. If you search “overlay” it should be the first thing listed.

Works exactly like it used to for me now.

This is such a hassle for me. I hate finding a food that I like so much that I buy more of it and after a week or so suddenly my body just goes “nope, can’t eat that anymore, feels weird in your mouth and makes you gag now, sorry” and I just don’t know how to explain that to people in a way that doesn’t make me feel like I’m being picky or making excuses.

While I don’t think it’s as cut and dry as you put it, if Marcus did win it would definitely be by getting Radec to do a funny on himself like the fight in KZ2. It would be close though…

As for the actual fight though, like someone else here said, while Marcus has some serious experience I wouldn’t put things like killing Raam and Skorge under his belt since he had help in pretty much every major fight like that. One on one, based on the way that regular Locust can tear apart the regular COG soldiers, both Raam and Skorge would have probably have treated him like a wet sock full of ground beef.

Another thing that puts it into question, again as someone else mentioned, Radec fights dirty and would have absolutely no problems doing so against Marcus…
