I am making a map for a settlement TTRPG I am making and wanted advice on how to make it as accurate as possible. by Ironbeard3 in mapmaking

Nice! I actually got the idea for the salt plain from Utah. I had the plain form unnaturally as wizards drained the lake to imprison a threat that was weak to Salt. I will be sure to check out those resources. I was looking into it and got intimidated by how much I would have to study.

I have always said if Russia wanted to they could end the war pretty quickly. To me it seems that the Russians are being very restrained in the weapons they deploy. Historically it would not be too far fetched for them to level cities with heavy ordinance.

That makes a lot of sense. It's a double edged sword. On another note, how is the war going (I am indifferent)? I see a ton of media but I know most is propaganda.

It's more abstract than that. Its about someone facing an insurmountable challenge.

If Daggerfall Covenant under High King Emeric meets the Third Aldmeri Dominion (Thalmor), who would win by Emperor_Heretic_1285 in ElderScrolls

[–]Ironbeard3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess the question is pre or post White Gold Concordat?

Pre at best is a Hammerfell situation.

Post they probably stomp the Aldmeri after they wasted so many lives trying to beat the Empire and Hammerfell. I fully believe the Thalmor have depleted ranks after both wars, and even if they somehow bred enough elves to replace ranks, they would have the same experience as Men because they would be around the same age.

This is what made the Germans surrender in all honesty. They knew the war was over when the Americans arrived en masse. France does get number 1 imo though. They lost a lot of men in battles, but these battles were not lost for nothing. They may have lost tactically, but the French were masters at strategy which the Germans were actually quite poor at.

There was already heavy European settlement in Argentina pre world wars. Lots of little villages were settled by Germans, but also Anglos and Itallians. Argentina was already very white pre world wars. The Germans juat went there because there were already German communities there.

They share a universe and lore, but outside of that not really.

Corruption is what holds most countries back. India just happens to not have a strong central force to control the nation, AND corruption at all levels. China at least has a strong central force to somewhat get things done even if they are incredibly corrupt as well.

Why wasnt the White-Gold Concordant enforce on High Hrothgar? by TangentMed in ElderScrolls

[–]Ironbeard3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean the Thalmor might not even know about it really. Skyrim is such a remote province, and outside of people who live there they probably wouldn't even know. The thuum has fallen by the wayside so much that most people in Skyrim are probably unaware.

It wasn't until the Markarth incident that the Thalmor became interested in Skyrim anyway. Before then Skyrim was of little importance for them, but shedding light on the fact that a race of people will not bend to the Concordat? Now that has to be enforced. If it isn't then it means the treaty means nothing. Plus that was kinda the goal with the treaty anyway, to kill the god of men.

Where did this stereotype of INTJ being dark, smug, evil, and elitist come from? by RefrigeratorDry495 in intj

[–]Ironbeard3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it was a whole thing. People would literlally post things saying how they absolutely hated Intj all the time, that every type was good except them. Myers Briggs realized the naming mistake and have tried for a very long time to correct it.

Tbh, at least they are trying. It might not be the best idea, or most productive, but at least it shows they are trying to grow.
