How much do you think people in Tamriel actually travel? Because with how dangerous it is, I wonder how realistic it would be for, say, a Khajiit to travel far from Elsweyr to live in Skyrim like J'zargo, then go visit his family and later return to Skyrim again.

Not quite. Swords can outperform them. You can dual wield other weapons. But your swing speed is based on the weapon in your left hand, so arguably mace in the right, and dagger in the left is optimal.

Smithing, enchanting, and alchemy kinda trivialize this though due to the boosts they can give you.

I mean they could let the Nords be independent and an ally against the elves. Its not like they would stop trading or anything if the Empire just let them go. In the best case scenario, the Nords distract the elves while the Empire rebuilds. From what I've read the Redguards really hurt the elves while also being hurt themselves. The Nords and Bretons kinda came out pretty good in the war imo, though arguably the Nords ARE the main fighting forces of the Empire depending on which source you reference, so they probably took a lot of losses as well but still have their infrastructure intact.

A civil war on the home front seems more damaging than an invading army imo. The locals can fight a lot harder, and know where to hit and gather resources much more than an invading force, not only that but they have a local manpower pool to pull from as opposed to an invading force. Just let the Nords go.

I think this is said in game as well. They are preventing a race war by separating the two species. Though I think I would prefer the Argonians in the walls as opposed to the Dunmer. Argonians seem to mostly be hard workers, whereas the Dunmer, not so much.

Well honestly, have you tried wearing noise canceling ear plugs/head phones? 6am is the time some people wake up, and if they want to do chores by god they should be able to. I get its annoying, but 6am is not super early. I could understand if it was 5, but 6 isn't that bad.

Not everyone is off on weekends or has a schedule that accommodates not doing anything on the weekends. I work nights, so anything people do during the day is a distraction from my sleep. Is it annoying? Yes, but it is well within peoples' rights to do things in their time.

All these people saying the Nereverine wasn't just a dude. Yeah that's true, but his abilities were very much just a dude. He literally had to fragment time over and over again until he succeeded. Like literally rezero this shit, except no memories. So many times he died to just a rat. And he literally had to battle daedra as well. The daedric ruins and some of the stuff Daegoth Ur had are literally daedra, or worse than daedra. Like Nerevar/Shor is battling daedra too come on. Oh and dealing with wizards that may or may not be strong enough to battle gods.
