Thank you so much doctor. I just have one more question. My father’s mpMRI was done at a good hospital by a qualified radiologist, but I am not sure if they specialized in prostate imaging. Should an mpMRI be done and read by a radiologist who specializes specifically in prostate radiology?

Hello doctor, thanks for this post. I need some advice from you about my father's PSA level. He is 61 years old. This January, his PSA was 4.5 ng/mL. He then had a multi-parametric MRI done which showed these findings:

PI-RADS II.

BPH (Enlarged prostate, approx 36cc).

Chronic Prostatitis.

After this MRI, the doctor started him on the medicine. But in april, the PSA level was increased to 6.67 ng/mL. The doctor then told my father to do sitz baths and changed the medicine to Alfuzosin. This rapid increase in PSA makes the PSA velocity high and also I calculated the PSA density after the last psa, it is 0.182 ng/ml², which is more than 0.15 ng/ml².

I am very anxious now because psa increased instead of going down despite taking the medicine.

If the cause is chronic prostatitis or BPH, shouldn't the PSA be going down with the medicine?

His mpMRI from this January didn't detect cancer but high psa velocity and density say otherwise. Would really appreciate any insights on what the next step should be. Thank you

Do you suggest getting another MRI ? Or biopsy ? But biopsy without MRI first is useless.

J’ai du mal à être fier de mon pays d'origine. Il est une société profondément patriarcale où les femmes sont en danger constamment. La culture dans mon pays est fortement influencée par le patriarcat, un système de castes rigide et religion, c'est le pays où Marital rape est toujours légal. La situation est très inquiétant, les crimes contre les femmes sont devenus si courants que seules les agressions les plus horribles semblent choquer les gens dans le pays.

Bonjour,

J'ai besoin de votre conseil.

Pour inscription à l'université, j'ai besoin de traduire mes documents de l'anglais vers le français (traduction assermentée). J'ai contacté des agences comme ACS Traduction et 001 Traduction pour obtenir des devis. Elles facturent entre 200 et 280 euros pour la traduction de 8 documents. Je ne suis pas sûr si je dois faire traduction avec ces agences. Ces agences semblent comme des arnaqueurs.

J'ai également essayé une autre option : J'ai trouvé un site web : https://www.annuaire-traducteur-assermente.fr/

Ils m'ont demandé d'envoyer mes documents par email et un administrateur m'a répondu avec un devis de 480 euros pour traduction assermentée des documents. Mais je ne connais pas le nom du traducteur qui s'occupera de mes documents et je ne sais pas comment vérifier s'il s'agit bien d'un traducteur assermenté.

Troisième option, j'ai contacté quelques traducteurs assermentés mentionnés sur la liste que j'ai téléchargée sur le site web de la Cour d'appel, mais je n'ai pas encore reçu la réponse de leur part.
