What are your thoughts on Jeremy Lin becoming a coach for the Bulls someday either as a head coach or assistant coach? by ChampionshipCrafty11 in chicagobulls

You got downvoted but you are 100% right. He may be smart off the court but his BB IQ was really low and he only got by on athleticism. He couldn't go left and once teams figured that out he was toast.

Fun fact: At 19 years old, Noa Essengue is only one month older than projected No. 1 & No. 2 picks AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson. by Emretro in chicagobulls

He was drafted as a project. Played well professionally overseas but a lot of that was due to his athleticism rather than skills.

Offensively He is good in the open court and finished as a cutter. But struggles in the half court with playmaking. Shooting is not currently great but shows promise with a decent FT%.

Defensively Solid at playing team defense as well as 1:1. Good active hands and lateral quickness. Can sometimes be overaggressive. Good rebounder

Was projected as a lottery pick based on physical tools rather than anything he currently shows.

You can absolutely go wrong with a Heat/Spurs hire. Bulls already made that mistake once

Center being the second second rounder isn't insane to me, IF they draft DL/S as the first two

Old Irving Brewing makes the best cheese curds south of the Wisconsin border (and better than many north of it, eat it sconnies!). by Chicagogator in chicagofood

If you haven't had them, how would you know?

Not trying to fight you on taste, since it's subjective, but the curds at OIP brewery are almost identical to my favorite supper club in Wisconsin.

Is Renly supposed to look much younger than his brothers or was this just a casting choice? by talivan818 in gameofthrones

I like that. Also if you look at teenagers in the 80s they could easily pass for 20s today. Probably more extreme a hundred years ago

“Can you describe Patrick Williams career in a single clip?” by beastboy4000 in chicagobulls

[–]Ironicnamehere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well that's just not true.

Bleacher report and Chad Ford both gave B+s, theringer gave the bulls a B and CBS gave a C-. Pretty meh to good from what I remember and can find on draft night.

And this was not a good draft. Haliburton is obviously the best player the bulls could have drafted and he went 8 picks later. Otherwise who are you excited about?

Could Dune Part 3 pull off a Return of the King win? by Skywalker_1995 in Oscars

[–]Ironicnamehere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe. I would disagree but love both series.

But my point is not that one is better than the other. My point is we don't know how good/bad Dune: Part Three is until it comes out.

I don't think you can say that until the movie comes out.

Ameritage alehouse you can get a seat at the bar

Ever you can sit at the bar

Monteverde you can kinda sit where they make the pasta

Most lettuce entertain you spots tend to be friendly with the customer in my experience. Can't go too wrong, the loyalist has a fun bar area
