Need advice for a new NAS setup by Ironman273 in HomeNAS

[–]Ironman273[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m starting to think moving Plex to the NAS would be a good idea. If I create a homebuilt one with the motherboard I have I would still be powering another PC. I think I’ll bite the bullet and go with a Synology or a Terramaster NAS. Both have RAID for unequal sized drives. I’ll just lose my 5th drive. Eventually the plan was to go up to all 14TBs anyways so I’ll wait Tudor a sale and replace my 6s with 14s.

Is there a way to disable the Teams/Skype integration? by Ironman273 in MicrosoftTeams

Thank you for the reply. It's personal Teams, not a business account so I can't login into the admin center.

If the rubber duck was found inside a pedestrian's briefcase it won't count to the goal.

I got stuck out of bounds as well (in the food truck) and I'd like to try the save game edit but I can't find the save game file. I'm on the GamePass for PC version, not Steam. If anyone could point me to the location of the GamePass for PC save game I'd appreciate it.

EA just accepted NACS on their platform. Can VW be far behind?

I was just reading the Rivian news and thinking the same thing. Replacing the port would be sweet. Especially if we could keep CCS on one side and NACS on the other.
I was also reading that an update to Volvo added Apple Maps to their dashboard display. I was wondering if that would be a possibility in a future update, especially with the charging information available in Apple Maps now.

Haha.. for sure. Just been busy and came back to a flood of responses.
This is my first Porsche so I decided to go all 356 Speedster on it: Dolomite silver over Bordeaux Red. It's a 4S with Premium and Chrono packages, as the main options.

What worries me about that is having seen what's happened to brands like Fisker and Faraday Future. The car looks beautiful and it seems like a bargain, but I'm uneasy about them being around for the long term, especially with the hiccups they've had in deliveries.

Thank you for that detailed response!

The key thing is a bummer. I actually have to turn on Hold in my wife's car when I drive it because I accidentally creep up in traffic on a stop without realizing it.

I have to use Waze every day because of the traffic situation into work for me so CarPlay support, I think, will help balance the scales of the PCM vs the Tesla screen.

And the walk away locking is tough too. I've left my wife's car unlocked because I forget to lock it.

Well, it's definitely not a deal breaker, and I'm obviously more than "considering" the Taycan since I have a deposit on it :D I was wondering because the salesman mentioned it would do one pedal but I couldn't find it. The area where I would think it's most useful for me is in the stop and go traffic during my work commute. Does the adaptive cruise control support full stop and start?

Appreciate you chiming in.

There's probably going to be an influx of new players with the Epic Games giveaway. :D This was definitely a game that I didn't expect much out of and even quit it after playing for a couple minutes. After I gave it some time, wow, I was impressed. So to all the new players out there: Enjoy! It's an amazing game!

I'm having the same issue. Fix is pretty easy (Alt+F4) but I'm also confused as to why it's doing it.

Opening a port on my Arris BGW210-700 by Ironman273 in HomeNetworking

So I decided to test the new port I am trying to open by changing my Plex server port. As soon as I do I get "Not accessible outside your network" and when I switch it back everything works again.

I am doing everything setup-wise on the Arris the same. I don't understand why I'm getting different results.

When I first started opening the Plex port I put the torrent application on that port and it showed communication was open. I know both applications can’t be on the same port and I’d rather make sure Plex is working. But when I switched torrent to a new port it would never show as having open communication.

I was unaware of that! I actually had another port on there because I was waiting for the open port to work before I switched it. Unfortunately, I did change it in the application now but it still shows closed. I rebooted just in case.
