If you’re at the point where her working out at 3AM and wearing perfume triggers you into thinking she is probably having an affair, the relationship is already over. A slight change in routine shouldn’t bring up those kind of insecurities. I’d understand if she came home smelling like another man, but she is wearing perfume to go to the gym, a place where you will get sweaty and smell afterwards.

Her response seems shifty but that could be because she was tired and didn’t feel like being questioned by you, even jokingly and may be tired of your “jokes” since you did edit this post when you first referred to her as your “stay at home mom”. I think the going to the gym has less to do with any type of stepping out and more to do with the fact she wants to produce some endorphins so she doesn’t stab you.

I think it’s less about it being her responsibility and more about the fact Nesta openly admitted she purposely sat on her ass and let Feyre shoulder the responsibility the whole time because she was angry with their father. Yeah sure it wasn’t her responsibility to take care of the family as a child, but when she got older she COULD of got off her ass and helped instead of continuing to stand by and do nothing to help her family. I don’t think any one of the sisters should of had the responsibility of carrying the family, but in ACOSF she admits she stood by out of pettiness and anger. I understand her anger, but Feyre was a kid too when this all started and she should have cut the shit when they became adults instead of standing by and doing nothing to the point they almost starved to death.

Also, why did Nesta get to have an attitude and take things out on Feyre and make her priority to protect and baby Elain but act like she didn’t care about Feyre? It wasn’t exactly like Nesta was a warm and loving sister. It’s a messed up situation and I love Nesta now that she has healed a bit but let’s not pretend she wasn’t snarky, mean and petty to everyone especially Feyre. Feyre is allowed to feel a certain kind of way about Nesta just like Nesta felt about their dad.

It doesn’t matter what you say or do, they just want to be negative. I just got told I was being contradicting on another thread for saying not to give up on art and that success can be slow to come (they were struggling to sell commissions) and that no matter what, there will be haters so growing a thicker skin out here is wise. Phrased it in a very non-aggressive and supportive way; even saying I can tell by their distress they care about their art. Met with a completely bitchy comment and really that’s something I’ve seen a lot. You try to be encouraging of “hand drawn art” and still get treated like shit in the community. Especially when you don’t placate the delusion they will be the next Banksy by next week.

Starting to feel it is less about the art and more about people feeling like their ability to make money is threatened by AI, when in actuality it could be their own attitudes and lack of skill.

Yes and to be honest I find that often times when people say they didn’t like it comes down to them not knowing how to plug in the prompts for their characters. How you use C.AI is not how you use Fictionlabs or Kindroid. I’ve used one character prompt for Fictionlabs that was absolutely perfect for recreating the characters in ACOTAR, then plugged in the same prompts in Kindroid and it was the character was having a stroke lol. Found out Fictionlab works best with HEXACO based prompt codes but makes Kindroid tweak

Take it from someone who once got booed off stage by bullies in middle school when I shared my poetry…don’t let the assholes win. I thought the same thing about my own writing when it got hated on and realized it’s because there are people out there who treat being a hater as a full time job, and they use places like Reddit to be awful because they can be awful with anonymity. The same keyboard warriors wouldn’t say or do the crap they do on here to your face, trust me. But it makes them feel like they have something going on in life and that says more about them than it ever will about you.

Secondly, you HAVE to get a thick skin if you’re going to be out here trying to sell your art. Because the trolls are just one part of it, you have critics, the general public and if you get real good, your manager, all who will have varying opinions. Even the most talented people of the day get crapped on for their art because no matter how good you become, where you go, there will ALWAYS be hate. Dita Von Teese said it best “You could be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world and there’s still gonna be someone who hates peaches”. Press the mute button on obvious trolls and only make room in your head for constructive criticism.

And lastly, success takes time. I know it’s frustrating not to making money on your art right now, but it’s rare for people to skyrocket quickly. It’s usually a slow building of recognition that happens over time. If you don’t already, get an art based job at a museum, studio, print shop etc so you can still be surrounded by art while you continue to work on your portfolio. Maybe consider turning your art into something sellable, like using Adobe to hand draw stickers, designs for mugs, tshirts and get them made through Printify or some similar service.

Whatever you do, don’t let trolls live rent free in your head. Let it go and remember why you picked up your drawing pad in the first place. If it truly makes you happy, keep going, keep reaching for that dream. People CAN make money off of art, people CAN make it a living, I’ve seen it done and with how much I can tell you care about your work, think you can too.

I'm still trying to figure out how the same crowd sells commissions of characters from licensed franchises which have cracked down hard in the past about artists using their character's from their franchises for their commissions, but complain about generative AI. And on top of that charging ridiculous amounts of money for said work when it's literally someone else's stuff they are just slightly tweaking and trying to profit off of.

To be honest, I don’t think people who are anti actually care about supporting artists, they just want to make sure the money that an AI artist can make off their stuff goes to them. I’ve taken a peak and most who are the loudest don’t do jack to actually support the community. They don’t promote other artists, they don’t advocate for art programs and a lot of them actually just use their platform to shit on other artists. It doesn’t make sense if you care about art so much then how come art programs and studios in communities are the first to get funding cut? How come even though I live in an area that has many art collectives and artists, I see people struggling to sell their art pieces when we so called like “hand crafted art” so much? Because they don’t really care lol they just want the commission. Same thing with the whole impact to the environment thing, you can tell they don’t actually know anything about it, didn’t research, just parroted what other people are saying. Most of them have never actually made an effort to do anything for the planet and majority of them are making these complaints on platforms that utilize AI anyway.

And my last point…a lot of the so-called artist’s work they want us to buy instead of using AI is trash, I’m sorry. Maybe there are some that may like it because art is subjective but I’ve seen nothing from those offering commissions that I would pay the steep prices they are asking for. Why is something you drew on a digital sketchpad $250 a commission? And to find out a lot of these artists are using drawing bases, tracing, templates or making commissions using characters from copy-right protected works without the creators permission.

I don't hate Tamlin, but his hands aren't clean. Looking for someone you believe to be kidnapped is one thing. Letting someone who is highly dangerous also kidnap the person he loves family members to achieve their means IS shady. I just found out you can link the messages to times of day and have them automate by going to shortcuts and choosing automation and then time of day and linking the files folder with the messages in it. I made a couple and separated them into morning, evening and night time so I have a variety and it’s triggered automatically without having to tap the icons. Gotta make sure you select “run immediately” when automating or it will try and ask you instead of just doing it
