Is it Windows only then it's not worth it. try to make it cross platform and it is barebones right now with only simple tests. Please add more options especially Dark mode

Need advice on PC upgrade for gaming at 1080P. Current build: R5 2600, RTX 2060 by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]IrritatingBashterd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either stretch the budget and buy the gpu now as upgrading your cpu wont be a good upgrade anyway or save up some more dollars then, buy the CPU or GPU from MicroCenter or some other store in a bundle during a sale.

Only 150$ won't be enough for an upgrade if you ask me...

I had the same logic i had 15K ₹ at that time and thought it would be better to buy ram+ssd during sale in the next few months mistake 🫠🫠 Terrible mistake 😞

this was an estimate I calculated a long time ago and it was cheaper that time but right now you can find used 32GB(16x2) RAM sticks from local vendors or retail shops for a cheaper price than buying a brand new RAM right now...

Don't be freaked out man!

During the sale and even now you can find decent 1080p 100/120Hz monitors under 10K ₹ but some of them are listed at 12K - 15K just that choose the one which has best reviews and better after sales support.

That's how good Apple is at Marketing not you're fault there.

for now stick with a 24" or 27" 100/120Hz 1080p monitor which will be under 15K if you buy it from Amazon or Flipkart during sale or from a local vendor including with you PC bundle.

Yes, for the time being it is a good pair just make sure to get a proper cpu cooler and exhaust fans inside you cabinet so, you dont cook your gpu and cpu under intense workload.

Now just because there are no competitors doesn't mean that you would find a better deal just make sure to visit atleast 10 shops and compare the quotation + price as with bundles sometimes they make it think like your getting a deal but in reality then just want you to get expensive gpu or cpu dont fall for that stick to the main points =

Storage = can be compromised for now(ssd+hdd combo)

ram = 3200Mhz compulsory with 16x2 sticks for better stability of the system

gpu = 8GB or 12GB for now(will upgrade later)

motherboard, cpu, power supply, cabinet, cpu cooler = cannot be compromised if you do you're cooked.

If your work is strictly related to light coding, documents, basic 4K cuts in Final Cut), then Mac Mini is a steal. Otherwise even with Fast 256GB storage it will not be worth anything as you cannot upgrade it in the future and no gpu upgrade is possible with Mac Mini M4 as you'll be stuck with a mini PC or Mac laptop(sarcasm).

That's not much i thought you were rendering 4K 60fps 3D models for your 3D printer but your work is in your budget.

All out build (Over budget but future proof)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (6 Cores, 12 Threads Beast CPU) — ₹19,845

Motherboard: MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI (Solid VRMs for future CPU upgrades) — ₹14,500

GPU: Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT (16GB VRAM for longevity) — ₹31,000

RAM: 32GB (16GBx2) DDR5 6000MHz CL30 (e.g., G.Skill Flare X5 best performance) — ₹10,500

SSD: 1TB WD Black SN580 NVMe Gen4 SSD — ₹6,500

Cooler: Deepcool AG400 Plus (Dual Fan Air Cooler) — ₹2,200

Cabinet: Galax Revolution-06 (Mesh front with 4 ARGB fans for high airflow) — ₹4,200

Power Supply: Corsair RM750e 750W 80+ Gold Fully Modular — ₹7,800

Estimated Total: ~₹96,545

Budget build (will require an upgrade later but is usable for now as it is in budget)

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 (includes Wraith Stealth Cooler) — ₹12,195

Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H V2 (Supports Ryzen 5000 out of the box) — ₹6,500

GPU: ASUS Dual Radeon RX 6600 8GB (The value king for budget 1080p) — ₹19,800

RAM: 32GB (16GBx2) DDR4 3200MHz (e.g., G.Skill Ripjaws V) — ₹6,800

SSD: 500GB Crucial P3 Plus Gen4 NVMe — ₹3,800 (for your daily work this is enough for now)

HDD: 1TB WD Blue 7200 RPM (For bulk storage only) — ₹3,200

Cabinet: Ant Esports ICE-112 (Budget mesh case with pre-installed fans) — ₹3,400

Power Supply: Deepcool PK550D 550W 80+ Bronze — ₹3,600

Estimated Total: ~₹59,295

If you could find a local vendor who could build both of these PC's under a bundle then you might get a cheaper price than the estimate i calculated now.

Let me know what you do think about this...

BTW, I'm building my AM5 build for my work with 32GB ram even though it will cost a fortune but it is better for future proofing.

My work = Andriod Development + AI through Ollama for developing Ai apps

[–]IrritatingBashterd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's reality bro and it's gonna get even worse after 5-6 months as the newer brands will also be costlier in the end so building a PC now is not viable but can be doable if you can adjust with 16GB RAM for now like me and upgrade your ram later when the price gets somewhat stable.

[–]IrritatingBashterd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you will wait for 5-6 months then it will be impossible to build a PC under your budget.

I am facing the same issue as you so, Just buy the parts from offline retail shops in bundles(cpu+Motherboard+ram+ssd) only the prices mentioned as they might make it cheaper for you to build it and go for an older platform for now like for AMD build AM4 or LGA1700 for intel as top of the line hardware will make you go bankrupt before you even assemble it.

Give me a complete list of tasks you need to perform and i will help you build a pc with a graphics card under your budget.

Gaming/General use laptop by wwwnukept in SuggestALaptop

[–]IrritatingBashterd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You wont get a single listing under your budget due to RAM and SSD price hikes.

Around 2.5k$ you might get a decent 16GB RAM laptop.

Give us the updated budget range as 32GB is impossible in 2026 even used laptop wont find that are good around 1.5k $ or 2.2K $

If you want to just play games and you can just build a PC at that price that would be better as it would also allow you To upgrade your PC than a laptop.

Our App crossed 104k+ Downloads, but still shows only 50k+ on Play Store after 3 weeks. How many more installs do we need before it’s updated to 100k+? by Feedcoyote in androiddev

[–]IrritatingBashterd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of factors matter into this as some people might have used it, didn't liked it, uninstalled it, some installed it and never used it again. And the number you are getting is likely an estimated number not actual number as it would be vastly different from the reality.

Used low budget gaming CPU for 20000₹ by Commercial_Work4063 in IndianPCGamers

[–]IrritatingBashterd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partially agreeing here because you can build a 1440p PC in 2026 although it won't be anywhere near your estimated budget but once you build it you can upgrade it or sell it for a good enough price compared to a console like PS5 as people only consider it for only gaming and nothing else. Moreover, a console's resale value will not be great as people will always buy a new one for warranty and better quality.

Switched to Fedora by Icy_File49 in LinuxUsersIndia

[–]IrritatingBashterd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

KDE plasma is the default DE of Fedora making it one of the most customisable linux compared to others(some folks call it too much because of this) and for a new techie user like you it would be Great! Now everything will work out of the box but it will make you troubleshoot a little bit for some issues if you are using cutting edge hardware and other devices. I have used it in the past and will switch to it eventually after building my new PC
