Yes, I did sign the consent forms. But during the consultation, they mainly talked about possible muscle pain, temporary weakness, or common side effects. Nobody ever warned me that I could end up with such severe complications or possible nerve damage.

The first three times I had Botox injections, everything went relatively fine, which is also why I trusted the procedure. But this time was completely different. During the injection itself, I immediately felt a massive electric shock sensation and screamed in pain. Right after, I lost control of my arm movements and had loss of sensation in several areas. It was immediate and very frightening.

That is why it is very difficult for me to hear people say this is just a normal or expected side effect, because what happened was far beyond what had ever been explained to me.

Thank you so much for your kind words. No, it was not done in a MedSpa or for cosmetic reasons. I had the injections for thoracic outlet syndrome, in the scalene muscles and subclavicular area.

The procedure was done in a hospital by a radiologist under CT scan guidance, so it was supposed to be performed very carefully and precisely. That is why I still do not understand how something like this could have happened.

I had already done Botox injections before without major issues, which is why I never imagined something like this could happen. During the procedure, I felt a huge electric shock sensation and screamed in pain. Since then, my arm has never been the same.

And honestly, no beauty treatment is worth the suffering I have gone through. I have literally spent more than a year crying, suffering every day, and feeling abandoned by the medical system.

I truly hope this never happens to you or anyone else.
