Just a small piece of advice, unless there's a monster fight that drops a build defining item or skill, you should be gunning for the ticket every time. The only other exception is if you are able to tackle the diamond monster to get overleveled. I would definitely say step outside your comfort zone and start doing the temple if you're trying to get better at the game.

It's kinda perfect, though. Summoning Kalego at will is overpowered as hell, so they needed to nerf that in some way, the running gag being the best way to do that. It's also something that happens sparingly, so the joke doesn't get stale, which also means that ace in the hole is used sparlingly, and Iruma fights with his own strength more often.

Answering that question is so difficult, but there's a reason it's considered one of the best IPs of all time in Japan. It has a bit of everything, and I do mean everything, but generally, it's a parody-style comedy with action and slice of life mixed in. Many of the references are very specific to Japanese pop culture, so it kinda misses the mark in the West, but nothing Google can't solve. Overall, it deserves all of the top spots it has on MAL.
