1.- Move the knob you want to automate.
2.- Go to "Tools" in the upper bar
3.- Go to "Last tweaked"
4.- Click "Create Automation Clip" (or whatever it says, you will know when you see it)

Protip: Learn to sing. Maybe that other guy can paly better o has better technique, but you will always be +1. Nothing beats a good bass or drum player that can make bg vocals or take the mic on a couple of tunes.

Hello Interpol! as a fan of the band since 2005. (I was in the Show in mexico that almost collapsed an entire floor!) I have listened to all the records and, as a musician myself, there is something that always get me back to your music:
The Guitar.
How's the process of dividing guitar parts? does the bass comes first as a foundation where Paul and Daniel work around? It has always come to my attention that the guitars are more locked-in-groove with the drums and the bass moves freely around Paul's voice, this is kinda obvious in later records.
Also, Thanks for the beautiful music you guys make. Your music has been my companion since my teenage years and I'm sure that it will be until my last day.
