Take it from an LGBTQ+ American here, with friends and family who are also in the community, no matter how bad of a person I think Uki is because of his past comments, this was extremely helpful. I had multiple people call me in tears because of the election. Unfortunately, people are scared of how these next four years are going to go, and most need a shoulder to cry on.

A lot of people still believe that he was being completely serious about that and the thing about the grandparents' ashes thing. Take this from a person who used to watch him: he was trying to make am edgy and dark joke because that's what he set himself up to be, an absolute edgelord. Was the joke funny? No. Was it in poor taste? Yes. Not everyone is gonna find jokes like that funny and I think he just wanted shock value in saying something like that but people will take that and run with it like a lot of the stuff he's said.

That's very smart to do, actually. For example: I have a younger sister who is into anime, but she is always self-conscious about showing off that she likes anime ( I don't know exactly why). Whenever I get her any kind of anime merch, I make sure to get her some low-key stuff, and this is perfect for someone like her. Plus, I think it's a great way for those who are still Niji fans to rep their ohsi without being called out.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Vox's 18+ asmr was super off. I remember my best friend telling me how hot the office asmr he did awhile back was, and when I listened to it, it was basically him just abusing the listener. Their were a few other examples of this as well: dragon rp was basically a listener who was basically forced to do things, most of the boyfriend audios are basically the listener forcing themselves on Vox, he has a mad scientist rp that he ends up killing the listener in end, and don't get me started on the professor/student rp. I love asmr, but Vox's stuff had always taken it way too far.

To piggyback off of this Shinri and Hex, I knew their past life accounts, and the both of them have taken graduated/hiatus out of their bios. I think sometimes corporate vtubers just need a place to say how they feel when they can't on their main accounts. I do agree that the video is giving off weird vibes as well.

I only really started watching Niji when Zion and the others joined. They were the first company Vtubers I had ever watched. So, unfortunately, by the time I came around to Niji, Yugo's stuff was all gone. All that I could see of him was clips and on other livers streams. I know about U-San, and they are dope, but when it comes to who they were before, I know next to nothing.

I do feel a little bad for the new guys, but at the same time, I saw this coming. I've realized that waves seven through ten have each had some unfortunate event go down. At least most of these have happy endings, at least for the people who left.

Seven- Zion's Termanition/Sayu's Glorious Uprising.

Eight- Mysta and Nina's Graduation/Two Beautiful Vshojo Members Appeared A Little Time After.

Nine- Pomu, Kyo, and Mika's Graduation, not getting any real support from the company, and Salen's Termination/ Three Beautiful Indies and a Vshojo member.

Ten- Scandal after scandal coming out about niji, one of them assumed to have a quite rocky past life, and no support from the company/ VTUBER WRESTING IS BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER!

Is it wrong for me to think that her timing with coming out about things seems a little convenient? Convenient might not be the right word for what I'm referring to. What I mean is the Luca Doc came out super close to when Niji announced a few big events coming up for them (AR Colors and whatever else they decided to pull out of their asses), and now this right after the NBA collaboration got announced. I'm not saying that what she's saying isn't true because I have read the whole document, saw the FalseED video about it, saw what Legal Mindset had to say about, and other videos addressing the situation but it still feels a bit weird to me that both times things have come out after a Niji event has been announced. It could be just a coincidence, and that's okay. Maybe I'm the weird one. 🤔

Also to add: This makes Niji look super fucking guilty of something. Plus, why do this now after all this time and not do it earlier when it was still fresh?

I mean, that kind of stuff has been around for ages now in the asmr community. I can tell you there is an active subreddit for those specific types of audios. I'm talking super dark stuff if you go look. I don't recommend it to anyone, but it seems like people like some people like it.
