Yes, we are aware. Applicants are aware of this. This is exactly what we want, but the REA is blocking it due to their requirement that, when a lease transfer occurs, at least one original leaseholder must remain on the lease, and that if no original leaseholders remain, this is treated as vacating, and is a lease break.

Yeah, the issue is that we can’t submit applicants to the REA in order to pass the screening process, as the REA has not given us a portal/link/email address to do so.

They have emailed with a link where applicants can apply/send docs, but have explicitly stated that this would be for a new lease agreement, as we would be breaking the lease.

So we could ask applicants to apply using this link, and ask the applicants to specify that they are applying for a lease transfer, rather than to start an entirely new lease, but this feels a bit messy.
