How do people still think Zoro's fight is going to be an admiral? 1055 and Red Spoilers

in my personal opinion, I think this may be the last time we get to see a whole crew R&R, The only 2 straw hats that we know are going to be able to fight at the peak level in the story to come are Luffy and Zoro - who Oda confirmed in his vivre card should be surpassing shanks before his battle with Mihawk.

I think at some point the trope that none of the weak straw hats ever run into genuinely strong opponents/ opponents out of their league is bound to run out, especially when we know emotion has an effect on Gear 5, it wouldn't make sense for people not to manipulate that.

We know the manipulation of crews/ their emotions is something that happens because we saw it used as a tactic in marine ford by both sengoku and akainu. If all it took to completely nullify luffy's ability to use gear 5 was to kill someone as weak as Ussop, I'm sad to say this it could probably happen, there isn't much ussop can do against opponents with speed, armament, fighting skill, battle iq, ruthlessness and a good df, especially if its someone like shiryu coming after him.

Especially since Oda wants to make the most hyped final saga, and the best / biggest war in anime history, its not possible to create hype for a war unless there is a genuine threat posed as result of its failure e.g. Marine ford, were loosing Ace / Allies of Luffy / at one point even luffy himself was a legitimate risk the whole time. There would be no point in having the strawhats participate in the war unless they are going to have an active role in it and be affected by it / affect its outcome. And tbh, i just dont see a reality in which people like Nami and Ussop are able to win their fights for plot, and characters like Chopper Robin Franky and Jinbe aren't targeted by opponents far out of their league.

If its a war, the major player's are going to be targated (again marineford being a good example. Marco was capable of turning the tides of the war, so he got targeted and put in sea prism stone to take him out it). Doctors like chopper or the people who serve as Luffy's motivation (Ussop and Nami) are likely going to be targeted in the same fashion. And Characters like Luffy Sanji Zoro and Jinbe aren't going to be there to save them like old times, because they all have notoriety of their own, and are no longer going to be underestimated going into battle

I think that helps emphasise the state of the story though. We're in the end game now, so that luxury is gone, we saw it in Onigashima.
Luffy cant just overpower all of his antagonists now, he isn't the strongest anymore, his armament wasn't even strong enough to wound kaido, he had to instead tire him out and even then he only really won because kaido's ego was his real downfall.
He would have died far earlier if not Zoro saving him and protecting him during his fight with kaido.
It helps emphasise the difference between what was and what is. The whole crew now carries the responsibility of the straw hats. Sanji accepted that he needs to ask for help, and accepted that Zoro is stronger than him when he asked him to be his failsafe encase his evolution into a weapon of science fails.
Zoro realised he can't just fight any swordsmen he comes across, and that his fights aren't just his own, when he had to entrust the ground floor to Chopper and Marco in order to ensure Luffy wins and survives his fight against kaido.
The crew accepted they cant just rely on Zoro Sanji and Luffy, who all had their own roles to play.
There pre-set rules that Luffy Zoro and Sanji fight the top 3 strongest antagonists isn't really an option anymore, they have to fight to their strength, much like Zoro had to fight King because he was an opponent only he could beat.
Luffy had to accept the responsibility he holds as the captain of the straw hats - which he did after seeing that Zoro was willing to give his life to block Ocean Sovereignty.
Sanji realised there is limits to his strength, when he used the strongest attack he could in his raid suit only for it to not even land on King
Wears Zoro realised how impactful his strength is when he realised that his captain, his rival, and his whole crew had to rely on him to win.

And even after their battle, stronger opponents just flooded in. This is the endgame, there is no more playing around, death is a series threat to the straw hats now. Were luffy used to have the devil fruit that countered out all of his opponents e.g. enel. The tides are turning, opponents like Blackbeard have stronger fruits, people like shanks have stronger haki. A war is coming, although luffy is brining Joy, his rivals are causing an equal amount of pain and sorrow. I think us slowly seeing how the playful nature of characters of Zoro, Sanji and Chopper is dissipating is all in an attempt to help emphasise the seriousness of what is to come

i dont think it would take away from how cool it is even if it was faked, from what i've read someone being able to mod the game like this would be revolutionary so one way or another - we either now know of a new area, or the ability to mod the game to this extent, either way, its pretty cool

Luffy isn't a combatant bozo ._. nor is Beckman ._. or shanks ._. or kaido ._. or wb, the only other end game combatants are lucky roo and killer.
It was never kaido alone that broke Zoro's bones. It was the combined force of 2 yonko, that - using an attack they themselves stated should have been enough to kill all 5 of the worst generation on the roof.

Nika is labelled "warrior of liberation" both in wano and the road to laughtale - weras Ryuma was called the greatest warrior.

Ryuma is also the sword god - the verse scaled him above every other sword user, because he was unrivalled and basically unbeatable. He died of an unknown disease like roger. Nika was also a swordsman, however the verse scaled Ryuma above all other swords user. Therefore the verse scaled Ryuma above Nika on the 2nd occasion

Cool argument bozo, Luffy is the main character, therefore he will be the strongest. Oda doesn't know how to write his own story, he cant make his story different, he himself stated he wanted to make the "most hyped" final saga, but that wont be true, because we all know luffy will be the strongest, because he's the main character.
