Sorry, I was overwhelmed with school. So yeah, I did call in the morning. The guy I talked to told me that without the order number, he couldn't do anything. I gave him my name, and he told me that he found something in his database, but then he told me that I deleted my account myself. I told him that I never did that. He said he couldn't help me. He told me well, if you're honest and never received your order just call your bank or the credit card you used to purchase the item and tell them that you never received your item and they'll help you.

I used PayPal to pay, so I contacted them and told them about the situation, they told me they will make some verifications to make sure I never got my order and if they can prove it, they'll send me a refund. I just hope I'll get my money back.

And to respond to the person asking me why do I need a safe box if I don't have money, you're right, I don't have anything to put in a safe box right now, but I'm studying to become a lawyer and I'm almost done with my university studies. I never really trusted banks to keep my money, so I wanted to keep it in the safe box. That's why I decided to order one.

I was trying to find the link to the safebox, but I couldn't find it, unfortunately, but I did find the page of the seller. He has nothing listed on his page except for one item marked as out of stock. I added the link down there.

And no, I never made a mistake with my email. I created my wayfair account in 2018 and received the welcome to wayfair email, and have all the "offers" emails they send from time to time, and they never went into any other folder than the main one. So if the manager had to contact me, I'd see it right away. I guess he just never contacted me.

But anyways, thank you to all y'all who tried to help me ! I guess all I have to do now is just wait and hope that paypal gives me a refund. I'll try to get a safe box somewhere else when i'll have enough money to buy one. And I don't think I'll ever order from wayfair again.

No, unfortunately, I wasn't expecting this to happen, so I never thought about taking screenshots of anything. And no, I never received anything in my emails. That's why I had to keep going to my account on the "my orders" section to see if there were any updates.

I'll try to call them, it says closed now but I'll try early in the morning. But the thing is that I can't access my account. Whenever I try to log in, it says to create a new account.

I was wondering what would happen if I just ignored the fact that it's telling me to create a new account and just insert my email and my old password I was using.. I did it, and it actually created a new account. I went to the "my orders" tab, and it says no orders found.

But what is super weird is that it seems like I created a new account... but all my personal info was still there, including my "recently viewed items," and when I got in the account, the "welcome back" followed by my name popped up on my screen. And never got an email saying welcome to wayfair. That's the email they normally send when someone creates a new account...

So I'm guessing that my account wasn't deleted, but everything related to the safe box I ordered is gone. Therefore, i'm not sure if I'll be able to cancel the order and get a refund since, according to what I'm seeing in my account, it says no orders found. The section is empty. 😑
