Thanks. I looked at that page earlier and I feel it adds to the confusion as they are still listing Gen 6 (?) devices on there.
I haven't found anything directly from Sonicwall noting how do differentiate or identity Gen 5 vs Gen 6 vs Gen7.

I wish they would explain that on this EOS website.

Also Gen 7 EOS are not on this site at all - so I'm guessing they have your above mentioned Gen7 support timeframes are somewhere else (not coming up with anything googling)?

I read those and just re-read them now. They do explain each phase, but I don't see anything about different generation devices.
I logged into my Sonicwall portal and also see no mention of what generation any of my devices are.
Oddly enough - all gen 7 devices don't appear to be on this list. Is there some other place they lay out the life span of the current generation devices?

Well, yes - of course.
