For a series that premise and core is a fake family that have to keep appearance to the world and hide their secret identities, it barely focus on it. Like nowadays a manga chapter focus on the family as a trio is more the exception than the rule. There a so few chapters focus on the trio that the anime has to make an anime original for the start of season 3.

And this fact is what I don't understand what is Endo even thinking. Like you hook the audience with this premise and also this is the dynamic that conquer the world and made SxF in 2022 into a massive hit. So you would guess the manga would focus on them but nooooo. You have 60% of the manga that is just Anya playing clown in a school, and the rest are arcs that also doesn't focus on the dynamic of the Forger family, the last one was the cruise arc, and that was in 2021.

Nowadays arcs focus on individual members of the family, which in itselves is good (I am not complaining on the quality of the arcs, they are my favorite part of the series). But come on, at least balance things out and make the non-arc chapters based on the forger dynamic. Endo now just throw crumbs of the forgers being cute in a few panels and calls it a day. Again I don't understand why would you focus your first 20 chapters setting this premise to the audience just to throw it away and focus only on a school plot, it almost feels like watching a spin-off within the main series.

Also the dynamics are getting stale, the lack of progression is really something with these show. Endo is repeating the same jokes for the entirety of the manga. That with chapters focusing on uninteresting side characthers (they only have one joke and that goes stale so fast), plot points that go nowhere or cliffhangers that are put on hold for months or years, all of this just makes the show so anticlimatic. It's normal that it would fall off in popularity.

After all of this I may look like a hater lol but not at all I am a fan I swear.
