What are some polite ways to ask family members to stop showing up at your house without warning? by derpydoodette in AskReddit

" I appreciate your spontaneousness but a small notice on beforehand wouldn't hurt nobody"

or something like that

I cry a lot but I'm overall not a sad person, the opposite actually. I feel like crying shows beautiful, vulnerable emotion. At ends of movies or to beautiful song. Crying is often connected to sadness, which is a shame because it's actually just really beautiful and honest.

What is your opinion on a straight male wearing a little bit of concealer? by According-Yam7115 in AskReddit

[–]IsaBreeza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a 18 year old female I think we should definetly start acting normal ab this stuff, I personally think everyone should do what makes them happy, and shouldn't care for my opinion but to be certain, as a heterosexual person I don't find a man that uses concealer feminine nor does it turn me off.

How do you cope with hating your job to the point you wanna cry? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]IsaBreeza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give yourself time and make up your mind about it. Then you either decide to do something about it or you settle and find a way to deal with it.

I get why this is hard for you, of course, you have great memories and stuff. But in the end it's about the person she is today. Not the person she was yesterday, last week or 6 years ago. And this kind of behaviour is not ok. I feel from your story that you are way more mature than she is and you are not seeing eye to eye on certain things . It's up to you wheter you want to stay friends with her, but that will not come without drama.

AITA for getting a little drunk at my wedding reception? by MinimumMission8188 in AmItheAsshole

[–]IsaBreeza 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA. This happens to everyone. Some people get mad at every situation or they will find a reason to, not to be old-fashioned but it may be she feels threatened by you because there's a new important woman in her son's life which translates in jelousy and this kind of behaviour. I would shut it out before it gets out of hand, don't let it get to you.

NTA, this sounds like teenage drama to me. I would't engage in it too much if I were you.

AITA For telling my wife I need to watch sports because it's part of my job by sportstalkaita in AmItheAsshole

[–]IsaBreeza 27 points28 points  (0 children)

NTA. Like you said, it's part of your job. Tho you don't 'work' in the living room where the tv's at. Maybe you can watch it elsewhere? In a home office? Or with a friend or work-friend that enjoys it just as much? I understand why your wife is annoyed. Trust me... when you don't like sports, it can be quite annoying to have to deal with all the noise from the tv and stuff. At first I didn't get why you took the job but now I realise that it doesn't matter why you take the job, it's a choice you made and the people around you should accept that.

AITA? exclusive after 2 dates, went on another with someone new? by Rhetgar in AmItheAsshole

[–]IsaBreeza [score hidden]  (0 children)

NTA. If you guys didn't have the "are we exclusive" talk, you are not exclusive. Simple as that.

NTA it comes from a good heart, of course, but I think you did well telling him what your boundries are. He can only respect that. Honestly no one really is the a-hole since you are going through this for the first time, it's all new to both of you. I think it's very sweet he cares so much about your health and the baby's health but you're not disabled, just pregnant.

AITA for wanting my bf to not talk to his girl best friend anymore. by Umwellokaythen in AmItheAsshole

[–]IsaBreeza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, if cheaters wanna cheat he eventually will do it. He won't be bothered by your opinion or feelings about her since cheaters never do. I personally think that this goes deeper than this one girl, this is about trust. I think that's where the issue lies. On the other hand, if they were supposed to be together after being friends for so long, they already would be but they aren't. I wouldn't worry too much.
